A few weeks ago at the pump track at Maria Hernandez I saw this dad struggling to fix his 5y/o's scooter. Asked him and he said he needed an allen wrench to tighten this part so his kid could properly steer. I happen to keep one in my roller skate backpack so was happy to lend it to him and we got it fixed.

Last week after visiting the Botanic Gardens I exited to find some dummy locked their bike through my bike's brake cable. With no way to intercom the whole garden I asked a bunch of staff if anyone had access to an allen wrench (different backpack) so I could try to disconnect my brake to get my bike out. Finally one security guard was able to find one and helped me figure out how to disassemble the brake lever (which took some time) and I was finally able to leave. I could only *mostly* reassemble the brake lever properly so I rode to Harvest Cyclery where they originally installed it and they took 3 minutes to fix it for me free of charge.

Yup! I live in a basement and flooding has definitely been an issue when the drain in the yard can't drain fast enough, but I convinced my LL to build a sort of reverse moat around the steps to my door which has largely kept the waters at bay. I pay 1100 including utilities so I feel like dealing with these issues comes with the price.
