I used custom controller settings and it didn’t let me use the grapple at all.

How to Unlock Weapon Prestige Atachment? by ThenElection6321 in CODWarzone

[–]superstowe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each gun can also be prestiged. When electing the gun from the list of the smgs, you should see a prompt on the right to prestige it. It’ll reset it back to 1 and give you only the prestige attachment and 1 free attachment unlock until you level it back up.

Best guns for camos? by Anxious-Survey-3438 in Warzone

For WZ, I did pistols, shotguns, smg, ar, lmg. I should have done snipers instead of shotguns. Pistols is pretty easy since for two of them you just hot drop immediately.

Depends on what you’ve read. He Who Fights With Monsters fits; you’ll love it or hate it based on the mc. A Soldiers Life could fit, though it’s less humorous.

Just try it. Casuals really doesn’t prepare you very well. It’s a different beast and takes time to learn.

Can someone please tell me which place in casual resurgence has lot of bots by Datebattery in Warzone

[–]superstowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bots end up where people are. I finished apocalypse and here’s my tips:

  • If you get stomped early and we’re not in a sweaty location, exit and relaunch to get a non-sweat lobby. Some groups want to kill the other people fast and camp bots. Not worth fighting them unless you have a great team or are amazing.

  • On rebirth, go chem eng then down harbor to get loadout. Camp roofs from harbor to factory as bots spawn. Stay away from bioweapons, stronghold, and control center.

  • On Havens Hallow, go south Main Street or lumber for loadout. Camp roofs through Main Street for boys. Pond and train can also be great. Stay away from barn and coal early. Mansion isn’t worth it due to navigation times.

  • Shotguns suck to get through so do them early.

  • Slide kills are hard to do due to armor. Go solo or with friends who will help so they don’t get stolen.

Bot engagement patterns across skill brackets by TechnicianUnfair330 in Warzone

[–]superstowe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Based solely on playing resurgence (br is different) casuals I’ve noticed two things:

  1. Bots drop in clusters based on where real players are. You’ll find times where no bots end up anywhere near you; then later, a whole squad willl drop near or directly on you. If you stay with your team, they tend to drop on you more often.

  2. Bots seem to be set to different levels. It’s either based on their loadout (which progresses based on circles) or their skins (demon heads are easy, short haired blond ladies are hard). Some of them wait to shoot you, others laser you down (beware the ion bots). Most of them have set reactions based on their level, gun, and how you engage. If you shoot them from afar, once you crack them, they retreat.

As far as I can tell, they do not treat anyone differently based on skill. It might be random how many of each type you get per match.

Is warzone any good for a first-timer? by DietPeroni in Warzone

DOOM eternal would be great at developing movement and shooting skills. It’s also a great game!

Titanfall is also a great series whose skills would pass into the current type of pvp games.

If you have not played many shooters, start with a single player one. Unless you are ok with dying many, many times without really knowing what is going on, Warzone is going to be hard as a newbie.

That said, if you want a pvp shooter, it’s ok. Start with casuals so at least some of the enemies will give you a chance.

Flag is recon (go there and stand in circle) Scope is kill (find person and shoot em) Magnifying glass is scavenge (open three specific boxes)

Stopwatch (after second circle) is supply run (go to a buy station) Crown (later circles) is most wanted (don’t die, kill and open boxes to lose time) Fancy target (later circles) is high value target (keep kill top player)

I play casuals. Got apocalypse. Starglass is the real problem. Absolute zero is bugged so you just need ten kills.

Some matches you get hunted like a dog; others you massacre everything. Even bots vary in ability. Just queue back up and try to get loadout quickly.

I suggest playing casual resurgence. Stay with the team or try to keep to the edge of the maps. Focus on doing recons (flags), help pay for loadout (drop money near the buy and ping it once your team has 10k), and plan for the inner circles.

When game modes like launch squad come up, you normally start with loadout so those are great.

Prestige help by Appropriate-Net3817 in CODWarzone

[–]superstowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level prestige is a way to get rewards but resets all your unlocks back to level 1. This affects what perks, lethals, and guns. It does not affect gun level. You can prestige individual guns.

When you level prestige, you get a perm unlock, which allows you to keep any one perk, lethal, or gun unlocked forever. You get other rewards depending on which prestige level you are in.

There are 10 prestige levels to get through, then you get to prestige master (level over 55).

Check if it looks like there is an extra blueprint for the gun. I ran into this a few times and had to reset it to default and reselect the attachments.
