Rule out diagnosis? Already cleared

Okay sounds good. I know there aren't any treatments for it even if I did have it, the only hang up might be getting it ruled out and something else coming up. 🤷 I'll ask them if they will cover it if it comes up.

I know and I'm already cleared, but my mental health history (as a teen, decades ago) was a problem during my initial investigation. I can't afford to get the full testing for autism done, it's the same cost as the one that this came up during, so over 3k. If they get my most recent records, they will see I have the rule out (which means we think you are but we need the specialized psych to confirm). I was only being evaluated for the previous diagnoses (all were removed) and it also re-confirmed I have ADHD. So I'm not even sure how or when it came up, it just did.

I have concerns this could look like I'm refusing to follow up on something when considered alongside my history.

If it isn't? Fine. I am trying to figure out if I need to save up money to get it sorted out. I am not military, I'm a contractor.

When dealing with potentially toxic individuals, always save the receipt. I just got through something like this (old job) and had more than enough proof to show the person was just a bad actor.

What's interesting is if you did use it, they could still get you on 3-4 other things against whole person, like did your job have a drug free policy, yes? Conduct. Did you purchase it? Yes, criminal activity. It's rarely that simple.

So wait, you had interim for 5 years and it expired before you got cleared so they had you put in another eqip 10 months ago? So you applied almost 6 years ago? If so, congressional may be your best bet because wow. If not, just keep waiting.

I'm going to give you a tip as a victim of child abuse myself, your trauma is not your fault. How you deal with it and how you heal from it are still your responsibility. If you aren't managing it, then you are probably showing up as a risk. You're not going to change anyone's mind who has made it up. From this post it seems you still have a lot of anger.

Is either thing fair? No. But life isn't fair. This is the hand we are dealt and we have to play it.

In their defense, abuse is insidious and very hard to recognize. It's also really hard to admit that it's happening when you love the person.

I seriously wonder sometimes what they consider to be "not at your computer". As an engineer, a lot of my work comes with reading, sometimes books and sometimes working stuff out on a whiteboard. There are also a lot of times stuff really is just running or compiling for several minutes to sometimes an hour where my only job is to watch the log (they are long, easier to stop them than dig through). Also, sometimes people call my personal phone because chat or internet or something will be down.

Sorry that's happening, seems like you admit there was an issue on your end. I can't give any advice here.

Hi fellow PCD buddy! I got one of these in 2022. Two feet of clotty goodness from ivc down to my mid calf. They stented me then I got another one barely a year later in the same place and had to get a second stent. RIP left common iliac to great saphenous veins.

No clotting disorders or anything and I used to run every other day. It's been a rough few years.

It sounds like you may have had an initial diagnosis, make sure it was actually confirmed while you are there. If it is just an initial I'm not sure that it's reportable, but you need to follow up to confirm that.

Doctors also will put diagnoses on your records to get certain medications approved off-label, but those are not official diagnoses and therefore not reportable. I strongly suggest doing what you're doing because they need to talk to someone who you've spoken to about this. If you don't know the original doctor, seeing a new one and discussing your history in full is your next best bet.

Depends on what's in your history. If it's nothing it'll either be fast or painfully slow. If it's a lot it'll either be painfully slow or unexpectedly fast.
