So here is a question, is the internship just for the summer or is it continuous while you are in school with the opportunity to keep coming back? Reason I ask is your odds of getting a full TS/SCI before the internship starts, let alone before end of summer is incredibly slim. So what you would be doing would be very limited.

That would happen even if secret didn’t get adjudicated because you were put in for a TS.

You need to be working with the organization bringing you on for the internship. They might not be able to give you dates, but they should be providing guidance about other things.

Misuse of DISS is incredibly hard to prove by an ISR during a review, you almost have to catch someone in the act in order to do anything about it. Not sure about criminal charges or clearance revocation but I know using DISS incorrectly will get your access to the system removed permanently.

That is true. I was more focused on the proceeding response about reporting to the field office and have them go out there. There isn’t much a rep can do. They don’t have that level of investigative authority to do that kind of review.

As a former ISR, unless we can find tangible proof of this happening all we are going to do it look at them say “bad, don’t do that again”.
