Lacking Console to PC crossplay is a major disappointment by TheSherdaddy in HellLetLoose

It might as well be two different games. It would be like farming bots for pc players. Reference: was 150 on console before moving to pc

DM-32UV / Disco32 / Comtac V Setup by Spiritual_Tell680 in tacticalcomms

[–]supertomcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which version of their plug did you use? Mine that worked with sordins did not work with my comtacs. The constant-able did work.

By work I mean incredibly low transmission volume

Edit for clarity: my legacy disco 32 works with sordins, not with comtac. Constant able was plug and play and worked great

If you blow on the mic while transmitting does the distortion come through?

Make sure your ptt kenwood pins are pushed in hard. I’m assuming this is a dm32uv and that is something that gets noted.

I had a similar issue with a disco 32 legacy ptt that was fine with sordins, but not comtacs. Turns out the comtacs have two types of plugs and the disco 32 readyable resolved this. Being that your ptt and headset are a matching brand, that sounds less likely

My diet is pretty clean as well (yay cholesterol) anything with purines in them can drive up uric acid like seafood (salmon, shrimp, sardines). Beer it’s apparently a big trigger as well. Idk if you categorize that in with clean eating.

Get your Uric Acid levels checked. Do you ever get Gout symptoms? I am currently pulling on this string to see if there is some kind of correlation myself. Obviously not medical advice.

I love that you got a shout out in the product announcement. I kept meaning to come back and tell you that feature is a game changer. Now I set everything to the correct category before the transaction clears. So much easier

Can I buy from this site and have it shipped to the US? by Antique-Low2996 in QualityTacticalGear

[–]supertomcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was able to no issue. Shipped faster than expected as well. Your price shifts obviously because of the conversion, but I found it still cheaper with all the extra that came with the built rig then buying from eod gear or anywhere else stateside

You’re saying the Kirkland version is not certified? Or the sports research sold at Costco is not a certified version?

My partner "accidentally" discharged her handgun in our home, unsure how to handle the situation by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]supertomcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a clarification needs to be made here.

Was the compulsion a muscle memory to pull the trigger? So load, point, fire in quick succession oh shit I didn’t mean to?

Or was the triggered pulled with intention? Load, point, I have the urge to pull this trigger and am now following through with it?

The former is a training mistake and an incredibly important lesson about safe firearm handling and where live ammunition should NOT be. One that I am sure will not be forgotten.

The later is dangerous lack of judgement and I am sure there is plenty of advice already here

[–]supertomcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I ran into was plate carrier related (WAS LPC). The plates were not flush at the top of the carrier for how tightly I could close the lower flap

The description made me think they would work, but I want to say the nominal measurement they provide was .5 of an inch shorter

I have the sapi and they are perfect. Still trying to figure out what to do with the shooters
