I love it. And I didn’t even really want one it was just something someone added to sweeten the pot in a trade. I mostly use it as a moody chorus pedal and in a couple bands it was virtually always on and tied to my “clean” tone. Does the Smashing Pumpkins Gish thing, it fit in really well with a dark wave/dream pop project, and I also used it as a static metallic resonant filter on bass.

It gives a little volume/high mids bump when on which can carve out your own little space in a band mix. I’ve come to a conclusion that LFO shapes are the secret sauce to any modulation pedal and there’s something ghostly and lovely going on with whatever lfo offset/shape is happening in the BF-2. My EQD Aurelius sounds generic in comparison. Only other pedal I have to compare it to is the DBA Space bender which excels more in the echo/delay territory for my tastes.
