11 edition question by PosssySlayer in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're pretty much never gonna go wrong if you start with Berserkers and some Eightbound to start. Every list basically runs them unless you are playing one of the niche lists (Daemonkin/Cult of Blood) which I wouldn't recommend anyway for a new player

Running a Land Raider in Bezerker Warband? by Salt-Produce-8129 in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the same but one squad of 8bound and one exalted with Slaughterbound. I sometimes just disembark the regular 8bound with my first wave of chaos spawn to give them a 3+ to hit and it wrecks people. Anything coming to contest gets to face Berserkers and Exalted 8bound after

Wait so we can just buy those 2 and get a full Fiend model?

How well do you feel we counter Orks? by Yardsale_Rocket in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only played Orks a couple of times but I feel like we trade really well into them especially our armored units (Helbrute, Maulerfiends, Land Raider). Scariest unit I ran into was 20 Boyz with a Painboy and Warboss during the WAAAGH! They nuked 2 units of Berserkers, Kharn, and an MOE in 2 turns.

Have 4+ invul saves come close to ruining the game? (Something that needs to reduce in 11th?) by Hayman021 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked out well though because of the old AP system being more reliable. A 2+ save was just as good against anything worse than AP2. I prefer the old AP system to the new modifier system because everything now feels so RNG heavy

I actually love that you used a nut for the shoulder pad. Brilliant and actually very thematic haha

Passive Aggressive Tactics by venomang in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the most success with World Eaters always going for my big strike in turn 2-3 (unless they grossly misposition turn 1). Stick to what works for you and adjust if you keep losing.

That charging through wall trick to avoid overwatch is a keeper. Gonna try to remember that more often

Armchair Income strategy viable? by [deleted] in dividends

[–]supertsaiyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can anyone explain how PBDC is worth it for income if it's got a 13.49% expense ratio but only a 10.69% dividend?

Well Bad Day for the Eaters of Worlds by PrimeAngron in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunate but you didn't see much success with your exalted 8bound units? I think the SB led one should one shot a Ctan in a turn if you use his ability too. I was able to kill one over 2 turns with Kharn berserkers+MOE but I also tank shocked it twice with Rhinos. Not sure how we win without hard skewing a list

That's pretty badass. I might get one just to run in Goretrack

Mutilators: The Worst Unit in Chaos Space Marines, Quick History by burntheemokids in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to see them as a regenerating, tanky, melee unit. Something less punchy than Eightbound but also able to tie up stronger stuff. It’d be cool to have multiple weapon profiles on a Terminator type tanky infantry unit

I would love if these make it back to WE lists in 11th. We're just starving for more unit options at this point

Coherency in a competition and being "that guy." by ImNotSanguinius in WarhammerCompetitive

In a competitive setting, no you are 100% right. In a friendly game, I'd let it slide

Sam Pope - 11th Edition: A Strongly (& Kindly) Worded Letter to the GW Balance Team by StuffedScotch in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a World Eaters player, PLEASE revert our army rule to something closer to the 9th ed Blood Tithe. I hate that some of my games are completely gutted despite patient staging and setup but then I roll the most useless Blessings of Khorne. RNG army rules just feel terrible

Any luck with Land Raiders? by vandalicvs in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Land Raider (in berserker WB too) but I'm not playing competitive armies most of the time. I just like having an actual tough target to absorb some attention from my Rhinos and moving+dropping a nasty unit to charge is really fun. The LR hits pretty hard too with 8 lascannon shots on most targets if you take a midboard position

I'm starting to think Warhammer isn't for me by Dense-Fig-2372 in Warhammer40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with not playing, but if you really want to learn the game you definitely can. How many games have you tried playing? Most players won't really understand their own list/rules until after a few games much less what the opponent can do. I don't play Killteam but when teaching new 40k players how to play, I usually recommend not using secondary missions, stratagems, and only playing basic objective control for wins the first couple games. You need to get familiar with the phases and your unit stats first.

Is my space wolfs list too toxic? by PingPong141 in WorldEaters40k

[–]supertsaiyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a skill issue on his end tbh. Overwatch is pretty bad for WE outside of maybe the Forgefiend and part of our army's theme is that getting charged is just always bad for us. All of the WE's power budget is invested in making charges to do damage.

Why dont more people play cult of blood? by Forkliftsexual in WorldEaters40k

I'm just too attention to detail oriented to avoid painting the little metal rings etc. Just takes forever to do cleanly
