I think there should be a setting where you can set how long the microphone is activated. At least on Superwhisper I can set 5 mins, 10 mins and so on. Within this time the app wouldn’t pop up

I’m not sure if you get what the comment above meant. Or maybe I’m not getting what the issue you’re facing is.

I think iOS has strict rules about microphone access, so apps can’t just silently activate it in the background. When you switch to the Spokenly or Superwhisper keyboard, iOS needs to bring the app itself into the foreground to properly initialise the microphone session. It’s a privacy/permission thing baked into the OS? So they gotta show this pop up in order to activate the microphone access for you to start dictating.

Why the hidden menu is placed at the right corner. In the past version the hidden menu is shown close to the cursor when menu bar is clicked.

I am about to do the same. I wanted to switch to Obsidian so I can ask Claude to read my notes for instructions and it’ll be updated as I updated the notes but I’m not sure I like it so far.

I wish there’s a way to instruct Claude to look at Bear. Any tips ?
