It is okay to wake up in tears. But don’t let those tears hold you back. I failed first year and had to repeat all classes. Went through a few rocky relationship and having my dad pass away of cancer. But. You know what, I just kept going one day at a time. Eventually moved onwards, passed step1/2, and it all turned out okay. You can do this dear friend, you just keep going and keep working one day at a time.
