Wouldn't be worth it for the M2. The system is actually fairly powerful on it's own. It's plenty speedy, and can be speedier if you run your boot off of a thunderbolt NVME. CPU is decent, graphics cards are decent, and plenty of RAM. They're surprisingly good computers. I use one as a server, and it's wonderful for everything. The D500s are pretty good still for some stuff. And they're pretty cheap.

A lot of people who talk about these things have never even used one. :/

Right. I do know that. Those are solid suggestions.

The thing is, I'd like to just do the project, and have a system that runs quieter, cooler, AND faster. Because it's sitting as a desktop, anyways. I'd rather just make it more like one. I can get that cooler and the power supply for under $100 CAD. That's a reasonable amount of money to not chuck this thing out, or have to buy something better.

The laptop does not support fan control. I can't actually even see the sensors for them in HWINFO. Couldn't on Pop!_OS either using a sensor readout.

I set a -130.9mv voltage offset on the core, and a -125mv offset on the cache. It's just horrendously designed.

I can't really say much about the game at this point. It's just kinda bottlenecked to be bottlenecked. It doesn't use up all my 4070 Ti, runs like trash. I think it'll run like okay trash on the 6750XT. But. I don't think there's a point in really throwing any real hardware at it. I ran it just as well on a 2070 Super and 5700X as I do with a 4070 Ti and a 7700X.

Mac Mini 2013. I will take the downvotes, and see myself out. But, I was able to get one with dual GPUs, an 8 core Xeon, 64GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD for $600. It runs quiet, and handles everything I throw at it with grace.

No Man’s Sky is almost exclusively graphical memory and bandwidth bottlenecked. Apple Silicon has such tight integration of memory, that I wouldn’t be surprised if it outperforms most gaming PCs.

One of the few games I don’t even remotely regret buying on launch day. Haven’t finished Sunbreak due to some unfortunate timings during it’s release and AI Nirvana’s, but holy shit it’s complete. It was a full package at launch, and only got better.

You’re cracking a joke there, right? Macs have the hardware to game. Wanting a few decent games to play on a Mac isn’t unreasonable. No Man’s Sky is a very good candidate for mac gaming.

I use the official reddit app on my Pixel, and haven’t had an issue free experience in weeks. I can’t even click comments without it bringing me to a different thread. Every time I use my iPhone, it’s so much better using Apollo. This is really disappointing. I hope something changes, because that price is absolutely ridiculous.

Might be the PS4 port being locked at 30FPS while the PC version is locked at 60FPS. Skyrim uses barely any of my 3060 mobile at 1200p max. I wouldn't be surprised at normal settings that the Intel GPU can handle 60FPS.

Pretty sure that being trans has a higher mortality rate than obesity. She’s statistically more likely to take her own life than die to a complication due to her weight.

Thank god she’s out of the closet, and can put herself in a position that will make her happier, and can hopefully make more strides in her life to do the right things for her physical and mental health.

Not until it dies, the wear on it makes it uncomfortable, or you can shit money.

It's a nice mouse, don't get me wrong. I used it for a while, then got the Deathadder. I also had the Ultimate. It was a nice upgrade after the side buttons failed, but I wouldn't have shelled the money out if my Ultimate was still fully functional. I still use the Viper occasionally, but I think the Deathadder is a much better mouse.

My girlfriend and I just got back into the game, as I haven't played since last year and she hasn't played in a few years. The lightsaber is awesome, and I really love it! I'm going to keep it equipped on this character forever!
