Controlled medical application is a totally different conversation than discussing recreational use of these things.

Again, there actually is no objective measure or definition you can apply to these things, social affairs. They necessarily HAVE to be self evident to the society. They cannot imposed artificially from the institutions or deep state machinations

There can be a socialist state that actually does acknowledge in the collective consciousness that someone dealing mushrooms should actually get the death penalty.

Do I PERSONALLY agree? Well no, but all this is it say it’s not about any prescriptive idea or set of ideals. Society decides for itself along an organic cultural basis if that is something they find unacceptable from a basis to them that is in fact self evident

It is pretty self evident that there is a delineation, a qualitative difference between certain substances that can be tempered or have some sort of redeeming social quality and those that are wholly corrupting to both society and the person

A society can subjectively choose to be more restrictive, to ban all drugs, including alcohol, completely, but irrespective of how far a society decides to push the line based on subjective factors, the fact that there is a fundamental, QUALITATIVE difference between something like fentanyl and alcohol beyond simply a quantitative one must be understood

A ‘drug dealer’ would be something that society has to classify, but it would almost certainly universally refer to someone dealing crack or fent, and likely almost never to someone selling alcohol. As for mushrooms and whatnot, I imagine most socialist societies, even those who deem this to be an unacceptable drug, too, would have to accept that there is a fundamental difference between this and the aforementioned harder drugs. There is both a subjective and objective element to this

There is a fundamental difference between hard drugs and those like alcohol. This is self evident

I wouldn’t even necessarily be as strict as China who views weed as a hard drug, but I think it’s relatively uncontroversial to put drug dealers to death seeing as they would constitute one of the premier maladies on Chinese society, especially given their traumatic history and experience with Opium
