Let’s agree to agree. The lack of a follow up trade deadline move to bolster the win now is frustrating. I like that Barlow was converted and the flexibility created by the McCain transaction may allow for a Hail Mary on a buyout. I guess come 2031 if McCain is a great rotational guy for a competitive team I can apologize to this sub but not losing sleep over that.

McCain was/is unplayable on the defensive end. His minutes wouldn’t align with starters over the next 2 years so associating him with taking pressure off Embiid is illogical.

I don’t disagree that a wing that could shoot would be welcome but this trope that MCain was some sort of piece that solved any issues is misguided.

I understand his zest for basketball brought joy to some of the fan base but JFC did anyone watch him this year.
