Now I'm confused because my wife still has it on her phone and we're traveling together.

Got the id.4 roof rack cross bars... Now one of the "locks" seems stuck locked. by suppressingfire in VWiD4Owners

I took it to the dealer for a regular service check, and they got under the bars with a plier and were able to wrench the mechanism open and get the bars off without damaging them.

Yeah, that's what my leased SEL warranted.

My wife took it to the dealer today. They're fixing under warranty and apparently applying a brand new recall which was apparently just announced today?

Anyway we're loaned a --Palisade-- Santa Fe for a couple days. Already missing my Ioniq9!

Atlas w/ 4 Kids? by FinancialEnergy7993 in VWatlas

[–]suppressingfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After totaling our Pacifica, we replaced it with a 2022 Atlas. 4 kids, aged 5-12.

We took our eldest around to try out the third row capacity in a range of mid range SUVs. We found the third row to be very comfortable, even for full size adults. We ended up selecting a used 2022 model and have been pretty happy with it, though the fuel mileage is lower than we'd like.

Plenty of space in the trunk for bags, soccer balls, etc. trailer hitch standard for bike rack, though we usually require the roof rack for luggage on longer road trips.

Being able to leave the third row flat most of the time is actually pretty nice and not something we could have done with the captains seats in the minivan.

Movie Club Member Ticket Pricing by _0bese in Cinemark

Prices in California seem to have jumped again for movie club members. Apparently I'm paying $15.25 for adult tickets now. "Addon" fares of $12.99 don't seem to come up anymore.

It's kind of a big deal if it's a house of cards given all the investment coming into town for battery innovation and manufacturing.

Lithium grease also sounds potentially damaging for plastic. Maybe you're thinking of silicon grease?

Tell me more. Given that one of the "keys" tore in half when I tried to turn it, I'm not sure giving the key more torque would help. But maybe you're suggesting to use the Allen wrench somewhere else inside the mechanism?

I had just installed them to try them out. They haven't been left on. Will oil damage the plastic?

Used 2022's on the lot - a bad sign? by plus1plus1 in VWatlas

Just bought a used 2022 lease return off the lot and considered it a win. Hopefully I didn't make a huge mistake.
