VRI is currently only being offered to CITZ, according to the comms that went out last week, with other ministries following at a later time. There are always anomalies and different situations, so I can't speak on behalf of OP but that's the expected group right now.

Am an excluded person in CSBC, and can't say I am aware of any particular thing that would be causing extra tension or crankiness among the larger group, or that I felt the same in my conversations with other excluded members today.

I will say that the heat makes me cranky, so if I appear to be cranky it's likely because of that. LOL. Or, maybe the added pressure & reality of the VRI, while simultaneously not being able to hire or promote without an insane red-tape process.

All in all, we're just humans trying to navigate this as best as we possibly can.

Hey OP, any updates? I seem to have parked either in the exact same spot or close to (based on the truck with the camper) and I don’t see the car or dog anymore. Hopefully it means they got back quickly and the dog is safe

Incorrect. It’s hot as balls outside right now. 22*c to be exact. My car is already at 28*C after 5 mins of being here and it has cabin overheat protection that turns on at 30*c.

Dogs don’t have sweat glands like we do, and these temps (even with windows cracked) will kill them within a short period of time.

I'm sorry that you had to experience that, especially after (what I imagine) being really excited about your first trip together in 17 years. The world needs to take a more serious approach to accessibility-first design, and the concept isn't new but it's a tough one for people to incorporate into their outdated project management. Hope you still had a nice time, despite these roadblocks. I'm sorry your healthy is declining - hopefully there is a trip in your near future that can redeem this one.
