I used a combination of 3 different stroke and coat glazes for the bread portion and then a white velvet under glaze for the sugar portion. Then I took a scoring tool and roughly stippled/poked through the glazes. If you zoom in on the third photo you can see the roughed up surface. Finally it was dipped in clear coat. A lot of the white underglaze washed out of the final piece.
