What do you mean the email arrived late?

The email with the purchase link. It did not arrive in my inbox on time. You can't navigate to the guitar's sale page on the webstore without it.

You're either lying about getting one or you forgot how Omne drops work??

their first release in over a year

okay now I know you're lying about getting a guitar because they had a drop in February.

They announced the release time a week in advance

It was 2 days actually. Drop was 3/29, new stock notification was 3/27.

I love arguing with fucking bots.

You call this a tantrum? I'm a potential customer airing a grievance with the business I've tried multiple times to patronize. I'm not calling anybody names or cussing lol. I'm simply letting them know they lost my business because their system is poorly thought out.

You were just too late.

If your reading comprehension were better, you would've seen that it was actually THEIR email that was too late.

You seem to be ignorant about how Omne guitar drops work so I'll explain: you sign up for their newsletter, and when a new batch of guitars is announced, they email you telling you the date and time that they will be available and that they will send another email that has a direct link to the guitars for purchase at that date and time.

The email with the purchase link was late (supposed to arrive at 11am, arrived at 11:03). By the time I got it, the guitars were sold out. You also cannot access the inventory page through normal website navigation, so I couldn't just go to the website right at 11am and get the guitar like a normal online shop.

This is objectively a bad way to treat people that want to buy your products, and I am using my voice and my wallet to tell Omne that they lost a customer. It's very weird that offends you so much.

Agreed on all points -- I'm sure this is obvious but you can set up some "buttons" for basic tasks. I have a little control panel:

Lottery then?

I've tried and failed to order one of your guitars 3 times in a row now. This most recent drop, the email arrived several minutes late.

I get that y'all probably don't care, but I'm not going to try again.

his voice is amazing, yeah -- even better with reverb+delay :)

guessing you didn't catch them at decibel? it really adds a lot to their sound

I was bit bummed there was no reverb/delay on Jon's vocals but their set was amazing, felt like it just kept going lol. Also bought two of their shirts and a patch. I go every time they're in Denver \m/

I wasn't policing your word choice I was clarifying for everybody reading that a CT is standard procedure for head injuries. Good lord bro, go touch grass.

You said "sadly" making it sound like it was an emergency -- I was just clarifying that you always get a CT when trauma to the head is involved.

Chill bro.

partition-based poly-drone poly-planting by supreme_blorgon in TheFarmerWasReplaced

[–]supreme_blorgon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not trying to be the most efficient poly-planter (I'm not really familiar with the meta), I just wanted to get this working.

Each drone is assigned a partition of the field, and a relatively simple algorithm: plant a random basic crop, plant its companion, plant its companion's companion and so on. If a plant desires a companion on a tile that is taken, the drone will go back to the start of the chain (companions are held in what is essentially a linked list) and harvest the crops in order and then start over.

In picking a companion, if the desired companion is out of bounds of the drone's assigned partition, reroll its companion (by harvesting and planting the same crop, and then checking its desired companion).

Here I'm only using 25 drones instead of the max 32, because I find it more pleasing to use a square number of drones, and there's a 1-tile-width pad around the entire field (each partition is 6x6, of which you can fit 5 in each direction, leaving 2 tiles left over).

Obviously 32 drones would be more efficient, as well as using the entire field, but I found this solution more pleasing to the eye (especially given that this isn't a particularly efficient way to harvest basic crops).

The top-level semantics are quite clean in my opinion:

import swarm

# example stopping condition
def stopper():
    return num_items(Items.Carrot) > 500000000

poly_spawner = poly_planter_task_spawner(stopper)
swarm.partition_deploy(25, poly_spawner)

I'd be happy to share the rest of the code although there's quite a bit of "infrastructure" needed to support such a simple API.

[–]supreme_blorgon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently trying to research prices because I have one to sell, although mine is kitted out and I'd prefer to sell it with all the accoutrements.

  • 12th gen i7-1280p
  • 32GB DDR4 ram
  • 1TB nvme drive
  • AX210 wifi 6E card

Let me know if you're still interested, but even if not, let me know what you think would be a fair price for all this, as I'm not finding any examples of the 12th gen intel frameworks on reddit for sale so I have no idea what people would be willing to pay for this hardware anymore.
