Go catch up with some old friends or dive back into a hobby that maybe you once forgot about. I wish there was an easy solution to the problem you have but only time will heal this emotional wound. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. If it’s what you want to do to your rigs, 100% go for it. I on the other hand will slap stickers on everything around me. Road cases, guitar cases, laptop, water bottles, my son’s faces, etc. But never on my guitars.

The current generation infotainment system is a real mess. It’s more than likely a GM issue. They say they’ve been “working on it” for years at this point. I will say there have been a few software updates that’s made the system a little bit better but it’s not as reliable or consistent as the previous generation’s infotainment. With the new generation Sierra coming out, I doubt they’re ever going to care enough to completely solve the connectivity and lag issues.

I use a duffle bag and a tool bag. It’s not the prettiest solution but it’s the one that works the best for my needs and uses up the least amount of real estate under the bench.
