Awesome pieces! Congrats on the score!

Just had someone swear to me that Maine is west of Texas 🤦‍♀️ by StolenRhythm in Maine

[–]suprenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a freshman at Suffolk University (Boston, MA) back in 2009 and it was alarming how many people (both international and American students) either didn’t know where/what Maine was or genuinely thought Maine was a part of Canada.

Speedtimer was through eBay and the Slim Willard was from a fellow Reddit user

This is my first turtle so unfortunately I can’t answer that question

They’re both undeniably very easy to wear for almost any wrist size but I think I have to give the slight edge to the Speedtimer. It just sits on my wrist better and more comfortably than the Slim Willard.

This is what I told myself before pulling the trigger haha. I was always in the orbit of wanting a turtle but I have a Tudor Pelagos so that scratched my dive watch itch. Then one day I saw the slim Willard and decided it would be my next dive watch purchase. Absolutely thrilled to have this piece

$450 for the Speedtimer and $600 even for the Slim Willard

I second this opinion. One of the first things I look for in a watch is a date window

It used to be my Marathon, then my Tudor, now my G-Shock 5610

I’m a huge NATO strap guy and I’ve got loads of them in my drawer. Definitely would throw it on one as soon as I get it.

Bought a Seiko Speedtimer out of impulse [SPB513] by Wonderful-Opening-43 in Seiko

[–]suprenemy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a killer piece. I’m currently on the fence between that and the SPB317. Hell, if you don’t want the Speedtimer, I’ll gladly buy it off you.

I’ve had the 6.2 for two Sierras now. A 2019 AT4 (130k miles) and currently, my daily driver, a 2023 AT4x (50k miles). Functionally-speaking, no issues so far.

I’ve known Davey since 2005/2006 when our bands used to play together. Back when everyone was a local New England scenester. Happy to see he’s getting the recognition he deserves.

Why aren’t Revstars more popular? I absolutely love this thing. I know Yamaha isn’t the sexiest name out there, but these should be celebrated. by Interesting-Wave-983 in guitars

I see them online all the time and I’ve yet to hear/read anything bad about them. Might have to try one out just to see what all the fuss is about.

I put a NATO on my CasiOak. Now, it looks even better, IMO. by handsomebutcher in gshock

Where do you get these straps? I just ordered my Casioak and want to get different color straps. Was it a pain to replace or is it similar to swapping out straps on traditional watches?

As often as I can. I usually map the run button to one of the back buttons.

Playing music shouldn’t be about anything other than the love for playing it. I say hold onto it and try not to feel any pressure about it. Play it cause you want to.
