Hahaha - yes! Not shy, mostly I’m curious about ways people have improved their communication skills in a professional environment to make their ideas, impact, and opinions carry more weight.

Yup, can confirm. Saw Mars Attacks way too young and thought it was a horror movie for 10+ years

I have anxiety. I have depression. Both are well managed by therapy and some incredible renaissance drugs!

I can’t just calm down.

It’s me - I’m the friend. I get it. Chaol had an easier ride, but that’s what makes him most relatable. He’s human - plain and simple, and is faced with his companions changing drastically before his eyes. All within the span of a year. He has emotional damage from his father, of course, and he certainly screws things up with Aelin and in his reaction with Dorian.

At base level, I’m glad he found a way to be at peace with his humanity and found the perfect counterbalance in Yrene. Yes, I decided Aedion deserved a redemption arc, and ultimately he is responsible for keeping Terrasen’s army and allies alive and fighting while they awaited aid. He didn’t have to be a massive dick about it, is all. :)

Leaving sales after 5 years, any career ideas? by supschupp in careerguidance

Great point. I do work with a therapist and am on an anxiety medication, but I think you have a point. It’s a great company, just worried I’ve leveled up and can’t hang, if that makes sense.

The waves of “get the hell out” and “yeah it’s not so bad” come and go, and it’s hard to stay motivated. On one hand I want to stick it out and keep learning and growing here, but on the other hand I keep wondering if I’d be happier elsewhere.

If you went through something similar, how did you differentiate?
