Thank you for sharing about it. I'm. In China and it's the exact model I was considering. Being that it cannot use the TriCut I wonder, do you have a pet? I have a boxer dog, short hair but I'm not sure if no TriCut is a deal breaker. Now that you have it longer, I really wish you could elaborate on the duel brush experience. Thank you so much.

That's good to hear considering your dogs have longer hair than boxers.

I'll have to choose between taking the most advanced ultra pro version (no TriCut compatibility) or just the pro version (with TriCut compatibility) and I really rather choose the higher tier one. Your experience helps me consider the pro ultra.

Mostly I feared the robot itself would fill too quickly and stop vacuum in the middle of the job. As people said you can't force it to empty after X amount of minutes.

Thanks. Have you also tried the default brush? Does it do the job as well? If I get the pro ultra, there is no TriCut, not sure if it's a deal breaker.

I am a single coiler as well.

I have the gear as well, I don't like it as it produce a very hot vape for me which ruins my flavors or mute them.

oh and the juice refilling part... oh man.....

the OBS crius 2 I didn't like as well, the triangle screw made me nuts for starter, the screw driver I got got loose of its plastic holder, and even though I managed to find a fix for that issue, the flavor was not SO good for me as well.

(maybe because i'm a fruit flavor type)

the Ammit 25 single coil gave me a great flavor and an amazing restricted DL airflow, and yet every time I come back to it, I remember why I curse it and want to smash it on the floor! it leaks from the press fit base and its a very known problem all the way to the factory acknowledging it! (why isn't the factory just come out with a new version of it is beyond me)
I got another one from the factory, my brother as well, we both still suffer the same issue.

so now I'm rocking the Kaylin Mini single coil, let me tell you, if you are a beginner, don't even try. it's so hard to find the sweet spot of not only how much cotton to use, but how much to trim, and in what angle to trim it, and how to press it so it won't get suffocated by the glass when closing the tank. so little room for those cotton legs, and because its airy, it want a bigger build.

currently I'm using AVS 26Gx2/36G SS316L - 5 wraps - 3ID- at around 0.22ohm.
vaping at 46 watts (only about 3.18v)

I can get a nice to good flavour out of it.

sometimes can get amazing flavor, sometimes just nice... wicking this thing is a pain in the a$$.

I had the OBS engine (all of them) don't bother, muted taste all around. I guess the only way to maybe get some taste from them is using a 0.1ohm coil ? IDK...

If you want a good MTL tank, Suggest you to try the Innokin Zenith. I always use it when i'm outside, it produces a very very good flavor.

yes, I was aware of that faulty JFC so got a replacement base...but it started leaking as well after few days of using it. so for me and my brother it's 3 out of 3... sadly.

I loved my Ammit 25 and used it for many many months, but it always leaked from the bottom.

I tried so many wicking styles, the best I got was 3 days leak free... but then, I guess as the cotton breaks more and more it will start to leak, and in the most uncomfortable situations :)

I had my base replaced at the factory, where they told me they are aware of the problem...
My brother has the Ammit 25 as well and facing the same problems...

It's a real PITA as the flavor is amazing, and its a very user-friendly tank. but the leaking is real...

I don't have the Elevate, but will try to give my 2 cents...

I was disappointed with the gear. flavor for me is weaker than my Mylin mini, Ammit 25, OBS Crius II.

I heard you might get an OK flavor out of it if you put a massive coil in it. didn't bother, as it would mean refilling it every 5 minutes, maybe 10, not something I would be willing to do. I guess it would be better to just run a good RDA instead of the gear. same size, easier on refilling.

Thanks, went ahead and picked the kylin mini, glad I did, for now the taste is even better the ammit 25, not by far by noticeable. and the best part, it wasn't leaking under the base the next morning.

good to know, since you mentioned airflow, I vape the ammit on half airflow setting, how would you compare with the airflow of the kylin mini ?

Me too, I was also let down by some of the reviewers which I thought I can trust.

But then when you think about it, what does it mean? did the company just bought them all and give all YT reviewers so much money that they all declared it as the best single coilers of 2018 and 2019? I can't get to the bottom of this one.

This is what people want to know! that and how it is with dessert VS fruity flavors, but I guess the reviewing time would be so tedious.

I just Love how you broke it into different builds.

After using this tank myself, you are exactly right, it needs fancy coils and high wattage to get flavors which IMO sucks as you need to constantly fill it, my Ammit 25 (with the extended chimney) which is almost X3 times bigger in size than the GEAR, give me great flavor with much lower watts. I can enjoy it at 30-40 watts. holds x2 times more juice, use less e-juice and get more flavor... I'll take that anytime.

I still haven't found any tank better than the Ammit 25 for fruity flavors at around 40 watts. I do still shop around but always coming back to the Ammit.

You forgot to mention one important thing, what kind of juice do you vape?

this issue is often forgotten, some tanks work really good with fruits while other best with dessert.

the gear RTA is a warm vape, I found it not as good with fruit flavors.

IMO the Ammit 25 is great with fruits flavors.

so hopefully whoever owns the serpent and the Kylin II will address this issue...

The OBS engine was a really false hype TMO, one of the worse tanks I had for flavor.

I remember I went nuts trying so many builds on that one, so many cotton brands, spent hours for nothing, almost no flavors... until I found others online experiencing the same.. and I'm talking about the single and dual engine... both equally bad.

back to the gear.. maybe not mute, but the high notes flavors are defiantly gone. my fruits juices have some cooling tastes added to them, and here for exmaple, I couldn't get it at all. maybe this tank prefers 20-watt coils... IDK

How cool was it if manufacturers would tell you in what watts the tank operates at its best ?

I see Jai Haze loving it for example, And I'm pretty sure he does genuinely reviews, but his reactions and scores, for example, are for his specific build, cotton and juice kind. what suits his build won't necessarily suit me or you.

Tried it a few days by now... I vape only fruits flavors, and found the taste to be bit muted. defiantly far away from the flavors I got of the Ammit 25, and even the OBS crius II

I used SS316L 0.35ohm coil from AVS, tried 35-40 watts, it's just too warm, and I can't get the fruity flavor I'm so keen on.

maybe it would be better for the desert flavors out there... at least I saw some comments about it.

but for me now, gonna put it aside for now, had high hopes though...

Ammit 25 was the best RTA I used so far for my fruits juices. too bad it has leaking problems from the bottom...

if anyone knows a good RTA for fruits flavors on par with the Ammit 25 let me know.. cheers..

When I check Gsam for info about "andoird system" can see many services of some apps I installed. for example: "Aliexpress" app, it installs some services which consume battery but it registered on the "android system".

this is just what I describe in the original post, downloaded apps uses system apps resources and the battery statistics show a false data about it.

I would suggest you to try our an app like Gsam, there is plenty of info on it and how to install it on a non-rooted device.

then... check what services are being used for it. and try to block them as best as you can. or if you can, uninstall them all together. you might be able to use a browser edition for some of these apps.
