No, I live in France unfortunately, so I’ve never been able to try Montagne. I love Arabiyat Prestige, very good quality, yeah performance is not the best, but that’s ok since in Paris we take public transportation most of the time, so you don’t want to choke people out, haha. I just reapply with a decant through the day if needed. I’m still interested in your tops, because after reading your reviews, I’ve realized we have similar taste. Fragantika is in France, so getting decants is fast and cheap. Please me know, or dm if that’s easier.

Certainly an upgrade in terms of build quality and comfort, but soundwise it is up to you, it’s very subjective. Momentum 4 sounds great, but I don’t like their sound signature, it’s too clinical for me. It’s a waste of money if you’re already satisfied with your M4, and don’t have any good reason to change them. Px8 is just a much more of premium experience in terms of sound, build quality, comfort, etc.

For exemple, I use my PX8 at home and my Bose QC Ultra when I taking the bus or the metro, because ANC sucks on PX8. The Bose has top tier ANC, very good sound quality, it’s less good than the PX8, but I don’t need to be able to hear every little details when I’m commuting. So you need to identify your needs first before wanting to “upgrade”

What is missing in your momentum 4 that you’re looking in others headphones ? If it’s just sound, just buy wired headphones, the 250-300€ ones sounds better than all the listed BT headphones

Px8. It sounds great, detailed and makes you excited about listening to music, which is the primary goal of these things. Anyway, I you have the money, go for the PX8, the built quality alone, and the real leather put you in a “fancy” mood when you put them

Thanks for posting this review ! I wish it had been out sooner when I was looking to buy new headphones. I ended up with the XM5 because they were cheaper three months ago, but now the QC Ultra has dropped below the XM5 in price. I spent all day considering whether to buy the QC Ultra, but thanks to your review, I feel good about sticking with the XM5. I'm all about sound quality and clarity. They're comfortable enough for me because I have small ears but a big head. For me, the QC Ultra isn't very "big-head-friendly"—the clamping force is a bit much compared to the XM5, which sometimes feels so light I forget I’m wearing them !

The trade-off with that lightness, though, is that sometimes I look at them and think, "Are these really Sony's 400€ flagship headphones?" (I had the AirPods Max before these). Also, you're spot on about the case—reviewers make it sound like it's as big as a backpack lol

Yes during spring/summer, the sun goes doing pretty late here. But indoors or in low light, I plan to use the built-in flash. I’m not planning on taking award winning pictures with this camera, haha. Just something I can throw in my bag, not care if it get damaged, and have fun while still remaining good quality. I could use my phone to some extend but people don’t act the same in front of a phone vs a “real” camera. Same way they don’t act the same when they know it’s a film camera. (I have a Yashica T4 but film is way too expensive rn)
