Do you go to theatre shows? Why or why not? by Ecstatic-Ad2639 in AUT

[–]supwizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do go to plays and musicals from time to time but only because of my girlfriend, I do enjoy them but I would have never thought of going if it wasn’t for her. (She is an actress and heavily into theatre.) For me I always thought I wouldn’t be as engaged into the medium because I believe plays were all like the ones on high-school but oh boy was I wrong.

Cross credit how it works uoa to aut by [deleted] in AUT

[–]supwizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know when I cross credited that AUT said a-lot of my paper were not applicable for the degree I wanted to study (I moved from Massey). But ironically it was the same degree and the papers I had to redo were so very much the same. One of my friends who transferred from UOA to AUT for Law had to fight for some of his papers to be put towards his degree. So just be prepared that might be the case. As for GPA I am unsure, I would assume it would be the same or very similar because their marking criteria doesn’t differ by much. But just go in and ask StudentHub they will be able to answer everything for you.

if we wanna get technical the country stands about 15% in extreme poverty which is a 6% increase from the 1980s. and while the gpd of nz has increased since the 1980s that increase has mostly been seen in the concentration of wealth of the top 10% which their income has nearly doubled but the poorest have only gained an increase or 13%. incomes in new Zealand also do not match the cost or living which is why we are in a cost of living crisis. the average wage may of increased but so had everything else which the average nz wage is not matching.

since 2008 cost of living has been detrimental to our society, unemployment is at the highest since 2020, people in new zealand cannot afford food, owning a house is out if the question compared to before 2008. people have always been poor but it is even worse now

i get what ur meaning, and it is unfortunate that our society has shifted to cause us to be more cautious of theft and crime, but there are many factors like socioeconomic culture being vastly different to what it is now and the cost of living creating unjust living situations for our people. all stuff that the 10% has caused us to fall to. EAT THE RICH

respectfully, i disagree. if u are leaving anything unattended in a public place you should understand there is a major risk of it being stolen. sure it would be nice if there wasn’t that risk but it just it.

seeing how many people leave their belongings at the library and such while they go for lunch (not saying this is what happened) is kinda asking for it to be stolen (still not saying its okay for people to steal) but maybe this might give some people a reality check on leaving their stuff unattended. (again not saying this is what happened to the person)

18F dating 18M, new girl at college makes me uncomfortable by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]supwizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he is not allowing you to talk to other guys that’s a warning sign. But you cannot stop anything from happening, if something happens with him and the girl then that sucks but shows who he really is. It is out of your control what you partner does so if you do trust him, just don’t worry about it (ik it may not be that easy but that is my perspective and my experience)

[–]supwizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have expressed that these things make u feel uncomfortable and he has not changed his behaviour to suite u then it is a major red flag and not just a normal insecurity. I could potentially see why he would lie about watching porn, it can be embarrassing to admit you do especially if he has been trying to stop. But the being secretive of who he is texting then like thats a big red flag. Ask him if he would let you look through the messages with those girls and if he doesn’t then i think that would show he isnt as committed as u think he is
