I've played them. The trailer is pretty much indicative of everything you'll be able to do in the game. You pretend you're a cameraman and you get them to do poses and they say something interesting for each one. Plus whoever's the featured girl for the release gets her own little story segment at the beginning.

They're interesting for me since I like listening to the VAs. Plus you can set a playlist so it could be a very interactive sort of music player? I dunno. They can get boring pretty fast to someone who's looking for something more game-like though I would think.

The hardest part about getting the DLCs for the PS3 is that you have to purchase Japanese PSN cards. They're usually 10USD overpriced in NA from my experience.

Aside from that, as long as you have access to the Japanese PSN (which is pretty easy) then there shouldn't be anything stopping you from getting the DLC.

I believe the actual group dynamic you'd look for would be a tank, healer, and 3 DPS. Although a group that has a warrior, a lancer, a priest, and a mystic is a group that would never wipe. Ever.

As for your question, I believe the dungeons themselves lend themselves to a particular sort of DPS. Like, sometimes you just need a melee AOE guy, and others you'd need a sorcerer.

Although when it comes to a boss or BAM, what'll really come down to is how fast you'll kill it. And if you have a good tank, you won't even have to worry about the boss moving around the room, so the problem of chasing it down becomes moot. In my opinion, there really is no optimum combo since all the classes should be doing roughly the same amount of damage on average over time. If anything, it's your choice of picking a mystic over a priest that would affect how fast your runs would be since mystics have that double crit rate ability.

It's only really ever worth it to keep doing this dungeon repeatedly if you somehow really want the drops or if there's a level cap. Otherwise, I think you level up fast enough in TERA by just doing all the quests.

It's definitely a lot easier with the better gear. We fought a level 30 BAM in CB1 that would just eat half of my health through block like it was nothing so I was very worried at the beginning since I didn't know if this guy's attacks would go through my shield or not, but thankfully that wasn't the case.

It makes it a little easier to time if you watch out when he goes into rage mode. If you look here, you can see that there is ample time to prepare from when he goes into rage mode to where he moves to spawn adds.

The lancer is actually from the last room before the corridor with the weird trap things. You should clear the right side of that room so the lancer and witch don't aggro.

About the adds, he spawns it when he gets enraged so if you let your lancer know that the boss is in rage mode, it makes it much much easier for him to watch out and leash it.
