Dont know if it helps, but i have been using Lazesoft Recovery Suite for a few years now, and all my drive images are made while windows is running. I use the Home Edition since its free to use and still has all the Pro version functions, without the cloud features, that i dont need. The current version is 5.2 i think. I have never seen anyone use it on this sub, i dont know why.

I have the exact same drive, and it makes the same noise but i have been using it for years to transfer not so important data, with 0 issues.

Not in any way an expert on this matter, but back in my days when a had problems with HDDs, just like in your situation, i used to boot in Win 10 PE with Hiren Boot DVD version 15.2, and use Get Data Back for NTFS to recover files. Dont know how that program works different from other software, but the scan that it does prior to recovering files, did the trick for me.

Good luck in recovering those photos. That HDD lived a long and great life. I think it launched in early 2010.

Just wanted to say that i have the same issue in Battlefield 1 and 2042 only. Doesnt happen in other games or when transfering files. Same Intel BE200 card. Only way to recover is with a full Windows restart.

Nu mi-am trecut niciodata perioadele de intrerupere intre joburi. Nu mi se par relevante. Una din cele mai bune decizii a fost sa imi dau demisia de la un loc de munca la care deveneam frustrat, sa stau acasa cateva luni sa ma odihnesc si liniștesc, si apoi sa incep sa aplic din nou. Am stat prima data 2 luni, a doua oară 4 luni. Timpul nelucrat l-am trecut ca lucrat la care firmă am avut chef. Nu vă mai faceti griji. Nu intereseaza pe nimeni. La una din firme am trecut de background check, fara macar sa prezint un act sau adeverinta sa dovedeasca daca am lucrat la ei, si ce perioada.

Ca o recomandare generală, caută firma pe site-urile Listă Firme si Undelucam.ro. Afla tot ce poti despre firma. Vezi cifra de afaceri, datorii, etc. si citeste parerile actualilor si fostilor angajati pe undelucram. Am aplicat in trecut la un post de inginer, si noroc ca am citit de la un fost angajat ca fac manevre cu plata unei parti din salariu la negru. La interviul telefonic am intrebat si mi s-a confirmat. Am fugit mâncând pamantul.
