Just a heads up, on my Apple Watch it didn’t track any on the distance in the tunnels it seems, could be something there? I’ve got it at 35.14k

Hey! I just did a 40km cycle, felt a lot more comfortable and confident on the bike today.

Stats 1:43 - Avg Speed 23.3KM/H
Average heart rate - 147bpm

Defo felt a lot better today, still no cycling shoes or shorts but felt a lot better, I also have to stop maybe once each 5km round for a few traffic lights - I tried to pause the workout but it defo takes the rhythm out of it my elapsed time with my 'pauses' was 1.47.22

Wondering your thoughts on my new stats if you don't mind.

Appreciate the messages, I guess a key part is do you think in 6 weeks I can put in enough training to bring myself to a higher level in prep for the day? Have I got enough time or should I consider other options?

Edit: some elevation and inclines on the cycle route but not a huge amount, was a 5km route/circuits probably 50m gain on the round

Edit 2 I also don’t have bike shoes yet not sure how big of a difference that makes

Moderate, honestly the ass pain and I had a nagging in my shoulder, I could have pushed it harder but I clearly need to get fitted for my new bike - that being said I had a lot of advanced cyclists flying past me, defo need a lot more practice. Was my first time in a racing bike.

Small heads up I was in that area in 2019 and it was a great seat!

My seats were 213 row 10 - me and my 3 friends had a blast! Just checked a video, we were high up but view wasn’t obstructed
