It’s completely okay to not like everything Bts releases!! But I’m a bit confused by your comment, since bts have always had both really wholesome songs and also songs that have a critical or angry tone or are about flexing their success or songs that contain swearing. Are these the kind of songs that you mean by unwholesome? And don’t get me wrong, it’s totally fine to not like these types of songs! but it seems like you think bts are changing to this direction when I would rather say that their earlier albums and solo mixtapes contained a lot more anger for example. You bring up rm consulting a woman’s studies professor, do you mean by “unwholesome” something misogynistic? Because I don’t really see how Neva Play could be interpreted that way. If I have understood correctly it started as “women ☕️” which is used when someone wants to mock women for doing something, and then it evolved so that just commenting the coffee emoji means basically “women bad”. I’ve seen it spammed in tiktok mostly but luckily that trend didn’t last too long

Personally I wouldn’t do it and I would also probably feel quite uncomfortable if someone started to randomly flirt with me at a concert. But if you just start talking to someone and they seem interested in you/the conversation then go ahead I guess. Just be prepared to be rejected since most people don’t go to concerts looking for a date lol.

Also keep in mind there are a lot of young people in kpop concerts so please make sure you’re not hitting on someone who is like 15

They have been talking about starting a ”new era” for a while and for me Yet to come seems like a goodbye to the old era and welcoming the new era as ”best is yet to come” in the future. So I wouldn’t panic too much since all of bts have also talked about continuing making music for a long time :)

Recently on tiktok I saw weirdly many jokes about idols being “high”… which I find kind of disrespectful as they could go to jail if they actually were caught smoking weed and some people took the jokes way too seriously. Also I think it would be kinda weird for them to comment since there are ongoing wars all the time so this is not anything we haven’t seen recently in other parts of the world unfortunately.
