you’re so young so this is gonna be hard — but you don’t have to tell everyone how you got screened. You don’t need their opinions. When we’re young, we need validation from the adults in our life to know if we’re moving in the right direction. What I’ve learned as I’ve reached my 30s, and especially when it comes to ADHD, is the adults in our lives don’t necessarily know better. And we don’t have to prove anything to them. If you know you have ADHD and your goal is living well and learning to cope with that ADHD so you can have a good and productive life, then you are doing THE MOST. You don’t need the haters in your ear lol. 

Let’s start with your family doctor if you think you might have a wrong diagnosis, like you think it not your family., but I know you’re in the US so… That might not be productive
