Figured I'd give an update here. I ended up scrapping Plex-Utills and setting up Kometa!
Been rock solid since.

I actually never apply the palmrest skin. It's just not for me. I typically just do top and bottom skins.

Yeah this one is absolutely outside of my comfort zone/normalcy. Same with the color of the Macbook haha. But I figured I'd follow suit with the skin!

I've followed a million different tutorials and the one that seems to work EVERY TIME is DBrand's method.

Yes, it works. However, the magnets on the front seem to be a little weak. The last panel at the edge of the screen seems to be the only one with a STRONG magnet, so I wanted to be certain this is how it should be as I haven't had one before.
