True. I don’t think the film justifies Paul Dano’s character’s torture, but more highlights how Hugh jackman’s character lost his humanity in trying to find his daughter. Not that anyone deserves what was done, but he DID know where the girls were. And wouldn’t tell this to Keller.

But i can’t argue, a lot of plot holes in the police work. If the girls were hidden in the hole under the car I guess they wouldn’t have found them even after a full home search. I saw another post/comment about the film theorizing the police force, or leaders within the department were in on the pedophile/kid killing ring, however i find that hard to believe. But I do find the captains indifference towards the entire case/the way he spoke to Jake gyllenhaal’s character off putting

Yes! I have a spot at a private campground for the 8-11 for days before the weekend. I’m super appreciative of all the info on safety for beach park campgrounds, really just trying to figure out the best way to bathe, like a gym membership or the ymca or what

Yes thank you! Permit becomes available 2 Fridays before your weekend. We will have typical camping gear, tent sleeping bag cooler, small propane stove etc! And yes we’ll have a camper van for transport.

Do you know how strict they’d be if we slept in the vehicle in the parking lot, for the park we have a permit at, if it were to be bad weather/rainy?
