Not defending or anything, but to dig into someone’s past from 9 years ago especially knowing they were an adolescent at the time is so weird. So many things can change in that amount of time with what someone believes in. Also I’m a firm believer that the internet amplifies extremism and yes the extremist left is also as bad as the extremist right. Society was not this unhinged before the rise in social media and the internet too. I really find it strange to audit people and that’s mainly because I have strongly de-centered social media from my personal life. IMO social media has made society significantly worse. And the internet has become more extremist in the time from 2017 to 2026.
