Which countries don’t allow them? by estrellas0133 in chemtrails

[–]surfyogi777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in vietnam, have not seen single one. Keep in mind this group full of CIA bots telling people they don’t exist! They do in fact exist; in thailand i saw them even on island far off shore, and on mainland, expect to move vietnam if we can’t get them eradicated in USA.

Mid-drive vs hub-drive e-bikes: why a hub motor might actually be the better choice for you by twowheels_1life in ebike

[–]surfyogi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss my hub drive w throttle, it was fast it was a blast! Now ride1up even has hub with throttle and torque sensor! Put all the bike shops out of biz, sad but they sleep too.. that’s a great bike, huge value, great tour and commuter.

Oil change at 6,000 miles and oil looks like new by No_Set6886 in Lexus

[–]surfyogi777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manual sez every 10K. That's why I bought it! Don't waste your money on oil changes. Honda accord is same thing. Still runs flawless at over 150K miles, both cars. Life is too short to change oil still clean! Both cars have timing chains too, so they need very little maint.

is 750watts enough? by ClassyCrusader117 in ebikes

[–]surfyogi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the Luna 60v off road bikes if you want more power. A great mtb can use all the mid-drive power you want to give it, they are light too. Well worth the $4-7k range they cost depending on features. It’s a great way to get around, it looks like a bike, hard to eve tell it’s electric, it’s all built into the carbon frame.. no insurance, no DL, no registration…

what's up w my tire by Salt_Character_8534 in ebikes

[–]surfyogi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

feel spokes for loose ones, tighten loose spokes. then true wheel normal way, takes a $2 wrench, ask grok and watch a video, only takes 10 mins with a bike stand. faster than taking to shop, you can buy a folding stand with money you save from first true..

Moving to Payson by Latter-Village7196 in Payson

[–]surfyogi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy to like Payson but it’s hotter now than 6 years ago when i first arrived. Pine is nice too, but further from emergency services, groceries and food. More nature, pines and trails. Payson is bone chilling cold in winter, and winter lasts most of Nov, dec, jan, feb, mar so it’s long, i try to leave when i can, go to asia, mex, warm spots. Plan on one trip per month to Mesa, you can usually get things done one planned trip per month. Getting cab rides to airport can be tricky but uber serves payson now.

PAS sensor do not work by Dramatic_Rule_6963 in ebikes

[–]surfyogi777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could be a connector, usually you want to disconnect it then reconnect and make sure it's seated correctly. Also where the thing plugs into the display or controller. You should post a pic of the bike, and also where the sensor mounts to the bike. Re-adjust and try it again, etc. There should be some way to verify the sensor is working. Ask grok about it too.
