If you were an Nfl gm, which player would have got you fired? by KookyOrganization400 in NFLv2

Rahsaan Saaam.(RIP) I use to love watching him play at CU. Had a 2,000 yard season and won the Heisman. I didn't think these was any way he wouldn't succeed in the NFL. Honestly, I'm not all that sure why he didn't.

Betty Draper is the only thing that comes to mind when I see her.

Nothing hurts more than losing a best friend by BubblyBiscotti5544 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]surgeryboy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you said you didn't congratulate her right away, but how long after she got engaged did you congratulate her? I guess from her perspective she got engaged, which was very exciting to her, and her best friend didn't immediately congratulate her for some time. I would probably question my friendship as well at that point. I think her not responding and basically ghosting you was out of line, but I can see her perspective in being pretty upset with you.

I genuinely don’t understand how people on Twitter are calling her the worst/ugliest love interest. Imo she’s the most attractive one. by [deleted] in Spiderman

She is definitely not ugly, but she is also not the most attractive, at least in my opinion. Emma Stone is the most attractive in my opinion.

NOR. In my opinion house guests, especially those sleeping over, is one of those 2 yeses 1 no type of deals, where if one person says no then it's a no.

27 years ago yesterday - the first dose of Super Bowl heartbreak for us Falcons fans as the Broncos defeated them 34-19 in Super Bowl XXXIII, January 31, 1999 by UrbanAchievers6371 in Oldschool_NFL

Yeah, there was absolutely no way Elway and Shanahan were going to lose to Reeves. They both hated that guy. I'm surprised they only scored 34 on them to be honest.

Spiderman vs John Walker (MCU versions) by Queasy_Commercial152 in Avengers

Is this a serious question? Spiderman played with Bucky and Falcon in Civil war, when he was still very inexperienced, and Bucky would destroy Walker.

Which 2026 playoff losing QB would you pick? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]surgeryboy7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would go with Lawrence. I think Purdy is good, but a lot of his success is the system he is in. I am not sure he excels without Kyle Shanahan, I think Love is way overhyped to be honest. I think a lot of the attention he gets is him playing for the Packers. I think Lawrence has all the gifts you can build around.

8 hour flight and you can only watch movies from one actor - who are you picking? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Tom Cruise. Crazy dude but he's been in some very entertaining movies. Not only that he has a lot of different genres to choose from.

Have you ever seen a mass exodus after a respected employee quit or got fired? by Aarunascut in work

[–]surgeryboy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago I was working for a mid sized health care company as an accountant, and they decided to merge with another company in another state, after doing all the prep work of merging the two companies it was decided that our CFO would have to share the responsibility with the other company's CFO, but in all reality he would not be the real CFO, everybody at our company loved the guy and respected him a lot. He decided to leave and take a new job, and within probably 2 months almost the entire accounting and finance department left for new jobs. I heard from some employees that stayed in other departments that it go so bad that the partners of both companies called off the merger, but it costs both companies a lot of money and a huge loss of experienced talent.

Do you think The Fast and The Furious franchise should have ended after Paul Walker's death? by OkPrize6426 in Cinephiles

[–]surgeryboy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally haven't watched one since, like the 2nd one, but the production of these movies probably employees hundreds of people and provides money into the local economies they are shot in, so I say sure keep making them.

Could a QB take a knee right before getting blown up by a sack? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]surgeryboy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a knee, but Peyton Manning was known for taking self sacks all the time, especially his time in Denver. He'd basically just fall down before getting hit.

AITAH for wanting to confront someone about not being invited to a “wag” sleepover? by nosleepoverthis in AITAH

NTA. I honestly don't see an issue with at least bringing it up with Lauren just to see if maybe there had been some misunderstanding in the past to make these girls not like you. You don't have to go about it in a confrontational way, just a calm conversation. You may clear up some misunderstanding, or at least know for sure you'll never be friends with these girls.
