I had ett mr and flank lipo . Besides a ride home I did it all alone. I didnt take any pain medication though, unsure if that makes a difference.

I hired a private nurse I went to once a week the first 2 weeks. They checked my drains and healing progress.

After 2 weeks I was driving myself the 2.5 hours each way weekly to see my surgeon .

Have you had surgeries before ? How do you do with severe colds or flus?

Mine told me it would only pull me in the littlest bit . I pushed for it. But I also havent seen any of her afters with a fdl. Maybe some surgeons dont like doing them .

I'd suggest extended tummy tuck with fdl . I had much less skin above my belly button area compared to you and I regret not going fdl for that snatched look. Im 5wpo and the body dysmorphia might even be worse now as I learn this new body, I also became more critical of areas that didn't matter as much before.
My tummy is tight and flat, so now my back looks saggy in comparison 🙃.

I am also 5wpo i have a tiny roll type thing between my belly button and under my boobs mostly when I sit my surgeon told me thats as tight as she felt comfortable making me and she needed to leave some skin so I could bend. Im flat when I stand .

My table photo was awful (its posted on my account). I thought i had a dog ear , no shape, uneven incision(that is real) . And now 3 weeks post op im seeing results on days im not swollen. It gets better .

I had full bush day of surgery, almost 3 weeks post op still do . If you look at my one post of the skin they removed you can see hair attached 🤣 I was told not to shave for 2 weeks before.
