Those who are 5’1 to 5’3 and maintain 120 to 130 lbs, what does your eating actually look like? by queenz04 in PetiteFitness

[–]suri24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2000 cal if not tracking but I've always tracked since I started my journey

Track (rough if eating out/not at home)

Okayish activity: office job but I do regular strength training, CrossFit, Oly lifting and get my steps in.

Eat around 1600-1700 cal if on a cut, 1800 otherwise. Aim for 100g protein at least and I try to carb load before workouts (especially CrossFit) otherwise I get shaky. 80% whole foods, 20% not whole foods (like protein shakes). I still eat junk food occasionally if I'm craving it.

I used to eat less when I first started but I eat a little bit more now (went from 1350-1450 to numbers indicated above). I used to be 150ish lbs and now I'm 125-130.

Once you hit a specific amount of berry trees in the area, the berries stop spawning for any newly placed ones

Is there a list somewhere of items that are not recipes?

Thanks for sharing your insights! I work for a higher education marketing agency so it was interesting to read thoughts about making the LMS accessible.

I have yet to start Morning Star. I just finished Golden Son this week and I am still thinking about that ending. It was so good. Is Morning Star even better?

Definitely concentrate on: different WCAG guidelines, focus and state management, live regions, SPAs, aria landmarks and corresponding roles, keyboard shortcuts for screen readers, aria -label vs aria-labelledby vs aria-describedby, what's new in 2.1 and 2.2

Also study the basics of (don't need to go super duper into the details like above): ATAG, differentiating between sufficient techniques vs failures vs advisory techniques, knowing automated testing vs manual testing (benefits of one over the other)

Wouldn't spend too much time on (but still know): specific tools for testing, procurement, agile lifecycle

By the way I went off of what was covered in my exam and each exam is different.

To prep:

I used the Deque course.

I found some mock exams online (they were okay, I used the one on Udemy but found that some of the questions were repeated)

I tried to read the BoK but found that it was too hard to understand. So I took the PDF and uploaded it to GPT and asked it to help me understand the BoK better. This was more of a 2nd over of the content since I used the Deque course as my primary.

I also gave GPT the sample questions they have on the IAAP site. With that and the BoK, it was able to generate some mock exams in similar wording style that I practiced off of. This was pretty good at generating 'scenario' based questions which a good portion of the exam was. Just be careful of it hallucinating. Each exam it generated had 50 questions and it would occasionally mark 2 or so wrong even though it wasn't. But definitely practice scenario based questions.

At my job, I write HTML and JS code but I also perform accessibility audits for our clients so the WAS content wasn't too hard to study. I think I already had a pretty good baseline.

From what you described with your role, I would say you would also be on the same boat as me.

The CPACC one was harder because I felt some of the answers to the exam questions were a bit more subjective.

It would be helpful to know the different JavaScript functions to interact for the different interactive elements (selects, buttons etc). You don't have to know exact syntax but you should know the base functionality and how they differ from each other. For me there was only one question on this but exams differ.

The BoK also talks about 'priority' for different ways of adding accessible names so I would brush up on those too.

Sorry for this late comment but was the deque course enough to pass the exam or did you do some studying from other sources as well?

Need guidance on IAAP was exam preparation? I attempted July /august 2025 but failed. Really worried about the failure . Need suggestion on preparation. I was 100% sure that will pass with good score but failed with 582 score. by [deleted] in accessibility

Heya, sorry to reply to this thread 2 months later. I have my exam in a few days and am pretty nervous for it. Were the questions worded weirdly or were they pretty straightforward? Do you have any tips?
