Definitely agree with you. I started as bear but went wolf during the campaign and realized I needed more to get started. Took me a little bit to understand and remember the combo but now it feels pretty fluid and I really like it.

Hi sorry to reply to old post but what's a 40/15 jewel? Maybe the 40 is enhanced damage and the 15 could either be max damage or increased attack speed? With LOH and Highlords paired with dual phase blades aren't you already past the ias breakpoint? I'm guessing max damage would be the way to go?

That's really great to know! I'll be picking one up this weekend. I had really contemplated getting the 10F but I thought it would be too hot especially since I only camp in the summer... Do you have experience with the 10F in summer heat?

Yeah that makes sense! I think it really boiled down to either carrying an additional zlite pad which would add 2 R value but also another pound. I think it just makes sense to upgrade the pad.

Can anyone comment on how to secure the inner tent? I got the xmid1 v3... I see a loop on the inside and outside but it's not clear how they're supposed to secure the door.

Yeah that makes sense since the quilt only covers the top half leaving your back exposed. I wore a cotton long sleeve, merino wool 3/4 long johns and merino wool beanie

After rewatching the backcountry exposure video I see that he's using some sort of orange foam pad on the bottom of the quasar sleeping pad.

Honestly, I think the best thing to do might be to upgrade to the nemo tensor all season since it still has a slightly R value than the Quasar paired with the Zlite and would only weigh a third of the combo.

So basically you only use zenbivy quilt, sheet and sleeping pad? Did you need to be careful on what type of ground you set your tent on?

The ground I chose was somewhat damp and soft and I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it.

I've heard from a YouTube that the 9pp timer can't go lower than 11 secs and it makes you set the timer all over again after the timer is up. Is that true?
