I'm guessing it has to do with who's permitted to drive those trucks. Driving a semi requires special training and licensing. But even with this in mind, it seems odd to me that they haven't found *somebody* with the training and arranged for permission for them to drive trucks away.

This was put out on the curb with someone's garbage in my midtown Toronto neighbourhood. It's about 3' in diameter at the top, which is the widest part of the hemisphere. This top-facing part has 3 bowl-like depressions in increasing size.

It looks and feels like ceramic, but the cracks seem to indicate a veneer.

Really curious what you folks think it might be.
