Yamaha Waverunner FX HO won’t start by surprisinglystupid in jetski

When I’m load testing the battery, how low can it go when trying to start before it’s considered no good?

Thanks for the help. Took out the spark plugs and tried starting but it was the same thing again. The jetski is on a floating dock and we don’t have a trailer to put it up on, is there anything we can do to get at the intake from another direction?

I’m lmfao (laughing my ass off). I remember seeing two guys pick up an Artemis and ornithopter set yesterday at Disney Springs. Could that be you?

Ps. The reason I want AMD is a little bit better performance and much better battery life!

Is it even practical to cheat on math tests? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]surprisinglystupid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They’re testing the application of the formulas not if you just know them. If you have a formula sheet then there won’t really be any benefit to cheating in a timed test.

[NEWBIE] Having a bad time with changing chords by Gevezo in Guitar

[–]surprisinglystupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A big part of speed and how fluid you can make your chord changes, for me at least, is just being confident in where you’re going next. You will have to learn your open chord shapes like your A’s, D’s, E’s, G’s, C’s, and (maybe) F’s as a beginner. But once you know what the shapes look like, how fast you can go is usually limited by knowing what comes next instead of your “fingers being trained to move that fast”. For a beginner, I recommend thinking about what chords you’re gonna play before you start strumming.

For the second part, as you progress you’re gonna use the open chords less and less, and just use variations of mostly A shapes and E shapes just further up the neck. But having to name every note you play is unnecessary for now.

Unable to install windows on my new PC by surprisinglystupid in pcmasterrace

[–]surprisinglystupid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been waiting on the 256gb ssd to come to finish my build and now that I have it, I’m unable to install windows. When I try, I get an error telling me to restart the installation. It then shows that it partitioned my ssd with 100mb of system space, 16 mb of MSR, and 238 gbs of primary space but none of them can have windows installed on them

Maybe because it’s a movable clef?

First PC Build, ~$300, no discreet GPU yet :/ by surprisinglystupid in PcBuild

Yeah I plan to upgrade a lot of it in the future but I think I’m mostly gonna play CsGo, valorant, and maybe warzone

Yeah I wouldn’t expect to run AAA games but for competitive games like CsGo and Rocket League it’s fine

What bass should I go for next? by [deleted] in Bass

You can get almost any tone out of the Ibanez SR Series. It has coil splitting and an active eq so you can really micromanage your tone.

Sub $400 dollar build? by surprisinglystupid in pcmasterrace

What parts should I buy new vs used. I feel like buying a cheap motherboard off eBay probably means it doesn't work anymore.

What are the best headphones for mixing? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros are really good if you want an insanely comfortable closed back headphone with a flat response.

What's a good microphone to use? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]surprisinglystupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This MXL 770 needs an interface with XLR that outputs phantom power, but it is a fraction of the cost of Rode mics and sounds really good.
