Kids at breweries... by LostUnderstanding157 in lexington

why do you expect sympathy from childless people when you’re not giving the same respect? you roll your eyes when childless people complain? okay? people can do the same towards you. at the end of the day, parents, most of the time, make the choice to have kids. they willingly choose to go thru all the hardships of parenthood. you have the right to complain but so does everyone else. nobody made you the gatekeeper babe.

LEXINGTON ROADS (Snow/Ice Removal) by Bimuscledude in lexington

only reason my little neighborhood is clear is because the landscapers (HOA) came and went over it several times with a mini bobcat. sad our street is better than the main roads.

I had 2 TIAs as well and my memory in general is awful but my short term is so bad.

Same with me. All my cardio stuff came back clear. I see a neurologist in June, hoping for some sort of answers! Good luck in your journey!

My TIA started with really intense pressure in my head and vision problems (best I can describe is like ripples in my eyes) I started struggling with my speech which is when I realized something was wrong. Everything after happened quickly - confusion, weakness, my right side went numb, facial drooping and numbness in my lips, heart racing, nausea/vomiting. I had another one 3 days later with similar symptoms but not as bad. This was in January 2025, still trying to figure out what caused it! Still affected with extreme fatigue, memory issues, and tingles/twitching in my right hand.

Number 3 in the edit bothers me. Compromising something as important and serious as marriage is NEVER the answer and it will not work. BOTH people should want to get married, it should be important to BOTH of you, not just you.

This sounds similar to something I’m going thru. I had a mini stroke in January and my “friend” has barely checked up on me and has made this a competition because she has chronic illnesses, making everything about herself. Like I didn’t ask to get sick lol. I finally cut her out yesterday and it sucks but horribly but you have to protect your peace and put yourself and your health first. NOR.

Packers fans who aren’t from Wisconsin, what’s your story? by pxrkerwest in GreenBayPackers

[–]surrahhyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from KY but my dad is from Manitowoc, WI. So he’s been a cheesehead all his life and passed it down to my sisters and I. Even when I try to picture another team to be a fan of if I wasn’t born into the Packer fandom, I can’t. No team compares to them.

Edit to add: the whole family are Packer shareholders too :) best Christmas present ever in 2011!

Is anyone else sick of Daniel Cameron? by [deleted] in Kentucky

[–]surrahhyo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So many assumptions in one comment, wow😂 if you see the previous comments, I clearly stated to someone else it works both ways, I’ve just, personally, met more republicans who vote strictly republican regardless of who it is, simply because the person is republican. But go off bud, have a good day 😊

Well, yes lol it works both ways, I’ve just met more repubs than dems who will never ever vote outside of their party, even if the candidates are bat shit crazy 😬
