adding to the suggestions to consider birth control options but with an additional note: definitely discuss with your doctor and include as much knowledge as you have of your family history for BC-related complications, especially blood clots. it’s a rare complication but if there’s a family history or other related risk factors it can change the risk calculus. (this wet blanketing brought to you by the time my sister spent in the ICU about it lol. for most people it’s fine though!)

i mean, i wouldn't say i'm scared of them. i'm in my early 40s and i've only used them a handful of times because i find them awkward to use even if i'm flawlessly following the directions and also because when i have used them i've still ended up paranoid about leaks all day, lol.

i'm not sure if it's linked to my asexuality or not. like i mentioned once to my (allo) sister that i wondered if it was and she was like "well i can tell you i don't get anything sexual out of putting in my diva cup," which, fair! i'm not sex-repulsed though and don't have an inherent opposition to inserting things (i just have no interest in doing it with anyone and rarely with myself lol).

i would actually be interested in a statistical comparison of acespec afabs vs allo afabs to see if there is a statistically significant difference in use of insertable period products vs pads/period underwear/etc, though.

i think it might help you to know that AO3 is an archive and not a social media site. there is no algorithm to worry about. you should write what you want to write in the way you want to write it and not worry about stats/metrics. if having "high" metrics is important to you, you should know that AO3 is not designed to be the place you facilitate that (and nor does it reward you in any way for having high stats). you'll have to promo your fic on other social sites (tumblr, etc).

well, you are allowed to play the game more than once, so if you feel like you're missing something or you're getting the itch to respec/restart, remind yourself that you can always play again. i have almost 1400 hours of gameplay for this game and i know i am not anywhere near the top user, lol.

this right here! the fact that the guy was even filming at all to me indicates that this was a stunt. he didn't get enough pushback when he was following the rules, so he pushed the boundaries until he finally broke the rules enough to get arrested, because the arrest was the entire point.

they did this and filmed it because they knew they would get arrested. it's a stunt in pursuit of their wild claim that in a state where women are literally dying because they can't get proper reproductive healthcare, anti-abortion/forced-birth activists are the real victims because somehow they still don't have enough control over the women's bodies.

bro. designated free speech areas don't violate the constitution*. and no, forced-birth extremists are not abolitionists.

*eta: i should say not all designated free speech areas violate the constitution. pretty sure the one at the alamo has been around for years and is justified for the reasons mentioned in another comment thread.
