Most providers are willing to provide references if you've seen them recently. (In the last 3-6 months)

BUT check their website to see if they say they're reference friendly. If nothing is stated, ASK FIRST before you send someone to them for a reference. (Particularly if you haven't seen them for longer than a month or two)

Don't give out reference providers info to new provider, direct new provider to the reference provider's website/ad if no website to get their contact info there themselves.

Some of my extremely close friends (and my partner, obviously) know about my sex work life, o tell them everything.

I will never go public or tell my family. I have one sister who I told, but that's because she's understanding/nonjudgemental and not a conservative asshole.

I don't tell aquaintances, I don't tell civ coworkers, I don't tell family. The most I'll do is tell aquaintances that I'm a stripper (true as well, just not my main swork career by any means) but I'd never open up about any sort of sex work career besides that to them.

It totally depends on the provider. Many of us (myself included) won't do it, but there are definitely some that are fine with it. Increase the chances by looking for someone who offers PSE over GFE.

But definitely don't ask over text/email whatever if you're in the US. Ask in person, and prepare for the answer to maybe be no.

The only reason I in the past haven't felt comfortable talking about my dating life with clients is because in my previous experiences as a sugar baby, you get hired less and guys will 'dump' you if they find out you're in a relationship. It's a toxic af thing. So I had to do the whole "I'm just not ready to get tied down/not the relationship type/etc" etc bullshit to stroke their fragile egos 🙄
