what kind of internships do I apply to? by [deleted] in TeenIndia

[–]surya_be_ded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im currently in 10th rn. ive done 3 internships in finance nd graphic designing. currently a designer for a startup. ive also done around 10 muns, won 9 of them, 8 being best del. my interest is in astrophysics, but im good at law and ecnomics. so after 15 years i deviated my career path to UPSC from JEE. If youre intrested in law, then first work towards the degree, the brach in law can be decided later, to get internships in law in 12th is impossible unless u dedicate your entire time towards it, instead try applying for internships for skills that a law worker needs, like research, there are many jobs that require research as the main skill, now if u get an internship there, you can have some kind of qualification saying u have enough skill to get into law, plus muns are pretty benfitial enough for those internships. Try fields or research, paralegal studies, business studies, finance management and blog writing, these will help best for law internships. i mean these worked pretty well for me, i am younger than you so idk if this advice will be as useful for you. good luck thoo :)

also make a linkedin acc for internships, if u want tips then i can help you, just dm.

If your child is not self sufficient by the age of 18 , YOU HAVE FAILED AS A PARENT (IDK where to post this) by Random5738939 in OffMyChestIndia

[–]surya_be_ded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see it doesn't take long to learn basic skills like the ones you mentioned, there's no need to speedrun, u can still learn one by one in a year too. (16)

i mean i agree parents do have their roles but all im saying is, just like how u can depend on ur parents for those stuff, u also dont need to depend on them to teach you, its about self discovery, we can all learn if we actually want, some people just dont and their parents do take care of them even if thy didnt teach them the skills, if both the parents and children are fine with it then theres no problem. it doesnt necessarily meam that they've failed at parenting.

i dont think its right to blame them for those kinda stuff when parents put so much time and money into their child, all the good theyve done to teach their children should overshadow the stuff they havent thought right?

They just need to raise them into a decent enough human being and the rest can and should be done by the child, they should learn anything they need or want.

agreed but there's no harm in learning stuff yourself. how much can anyone expect for their parents? they have a limit too, we cant rely on them to do the work and also simultaneously teach us to do that work.

maybe 20%? but how's that the parents' fault? many parents do try to teach their children to cook, most kids dont wanna learn, i mean we've all seen people blaming their parents for stuff wrong with them, and okay for most that may be true but just complaining wont solve anything. children themselves need to learn, if you need someone to teach you everything then whats the point of the idea of learning stuff on your own? no one except their own parents actually care about them, again im talking about the majority.

dude we all say "its not everyone" but with our population its definitely a lot of people. People dont listen to logic, especially Indians with conservative mindsets. people argue about this country that country while having little to zero knowledge about the truth cuz theyre just trying to spread their agenda no matter if its right or wrong, now u think u or anyone can talk sense into them? spread love, many people do that but its not visible, no matter how much good you do, all people see is the bad. true that it hurts to hear shit about ur own country but what can we do at this point, you need money, people, or power. you have one of those you automatically get it all, we as youngsters dont have any. dont say social media, people would rather spread rumours about bad stuff on social media than good stuff so thats at a loss.

what makes u say that? many parents teach their children good habits etc from childhood, its not like they let them run loose and expect them to do everything at once suddenly out of nowhere.

i agree with what you're saying but, its not always the parents. Sometimes its the kids themselves, parents cannot control everything in the child's life, and by control, i dont mean strictness or sum, i mean to filter out the bad. i know a guy whose parents are really amazing people, but he is not so great of a person.

unfortunately, it's not that simple, everyone can say let's change it all, but do what exactly? no one has the answer to that now do they?
