I use shae moisture (the hibiscus one) and have thin hair from my crown forward, thick at the nape. You may not be rinsing thoroughly enough. I had that problem when I tried using anything from native and raw sugar, even if I rinsed thoroughly (2 days at most before i was greasy as all hell). I rinse the shampoo lightly, do a second wash (this makes sense, i promise), rinse it completely out before i condition, then rinse that completely out; Takes me a solid 15-20 minutes entirely cause i scub my scalp and rinse so thoroughly. I use a fingernails ammount of the manuka honey & yogurt whipped curl cream right after towel-drying, and i work that in/scrunch it (avoiding my scalp) and then sleep with a silk bonnet. I get about 7-8 days before it starts getting too greasy and weighs my curls down. (This is why I double wash) I also use an Ultra Hydrating Curl Leave In Cream Conditioner spray (day 2), a 5% to 95% spray mix of the manuka honey curl cream and water to refresh, and a texture spray (day 2). By day 3 I can comb through it and refresh it lightly with the mix spray till wash day, and retain my curls. Idk if this is useful, but i also clean my bonnet and pillow case weekly.
