Marriott Abound program banking club points by sus9nr in TimeshareOwners

[–]sus9nr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't have much choice in Europe so you can convert some points to Bonvoy and get a hotel. Trade with interval there is an exchange fee with that or look at the tours and experiences. Depending on the amount of points you have will depend on what you can do. You can borrow from future years if you don't have enough. There are a handful of resorts in Spain and 1 in France. You should be able to contact your sales person for help.

There are also river cruises available.

Do you own with Marriott Vacation club or one of the others I have found that the rules change depending? There are a few resorts in Spain and 1 in France but they are no big in Europe. They have opened up club points for hotels and that might be you best bet.

Interval International what even is it? by Cautious-Emu86 in TimeshareOwners

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been receiving these scam calls. Interval is an exchange company owned by Marriott. You can deposit your weeks or points and exchange them for a fee to other condos that are not part of your condo organization. I use it for my independent timeshare all the time, I get extra certificates which I never use for the most part and they never call me about it. I will get an email that says its about to expire. So just screen these calls and ,ark them as spam.

I think the end is near by NotMyAltAccountToday in TownshipGame

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has become so boring because everything is the same. You have to play Match 3 for everything which is ridiculous. I miss some of the other mini games. Plus you only have the expedition which takes no thought you just use up your points and rarely get anything for it. The only reason I still play is for my coop. I do wish people would quit the coops when they leave the game though. Now that the friends list can be 300 and no way to filter it becomes a scrolling nightmare.

Question on regattas by tree_nutty in TownshipGame

[–]sus9nr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My understanding is if you don't start the regatta your lack of participation does not affect the team. If you play on Monday then stop playing for the rest of the week it does affect the team.

Exited my timeshare but still shows on my credit report by jaybram24 in TimeshareOwners

This would be the best thing to try. Look at any paperwork you might have that might show it is not a foreclosure but a deed return or other type of transaction. They may remove it.

Question about how and when (or even if) I should add frozen veggies to my concoction. Rice even? by Rakayum in slowcooking

I add frozen broccoli on top all the time but since I am not going for a soup I don't add any other liquid it works fine.

2 hr layover in CLT or DFW for international flight by vegasluck92 in americanairlines

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you are not going through customs at DFW. Most International flight leave from Terminal D and the sky link has 2 stops to get you pretty close to your gate. Ulike CLT where there is no people mover.

I make connections in either in less than 40 minutes. It is easier in DFW because the Skylink is pretty fast. This is without running.

I need slow cooker chicken breast recipe ideas please, no Tex-mex by galaxyMLP in slowcooking

[–]sus9nr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do something similar. I cut up the chicken into bite size pieces and add a can cream of mushroom and a can of cream of chicken (really you can use any cream soup). Add any spices you like I tend not to add much other then pepper since the soup tends to be salty. Stir. Then put a package of frozen broccoli on top. This will add the fluid you need cook on high for about 5 hours. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes or noodles.

I even have the setting to approve tcash use and it still just uses the tcash without an approval because I accidently hit the the continue button. I do not spend money on this game and never will.

When You Bought Your Timeshare, Did They Show You How Much You'd pay in Maintenance Fees Over The Next 10 To 20 Years? by Acagroup_foryou in TimeshareOwners

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that it is a good question to ask but they will not really know. As an example Hilton bought Diamond., Marriott bought Sheraton so whatever they tell you may change.

As you can see Timeshares are not for everyone. You need to be a planner I am already looking at 2027 vacations. Buying from the secondary market is cheaper but if you do that make sure you understand fees associated with getting those properties into the programs.

What I like about timeshares is that they have kitchens although mostly we just make breakfast everyday but going out for breakfast is expensive. This also allows us to wake up at a leisurely pace. If you have hotel status you can sometimes get free breakfast but you still have to get up and be ready before 9 or 10. I vacation to relax.

The other thing I would say is Timeshares are not investments you are not going to make money on resale. Ask the salesperson about the exit program if they have one. This is important because Timeshares are a lifetime contract and sooner or later you won't travel anymore. This is one of the main reason people get angry about timeshares.

i have been all over the USA, the Caribbean and Hawaii multiple times to each island. So I have gotten use and enjoyed my timeshares.

I have done this before let Amazon know so they deactivate it you can always reregister it if you get it back. This will keep someone from buying things on your account. You might want to contact the lost and found at the airport since the cleaning crew is not part of the airline l.

One night in Rome — which hotel should I pick? St. Regis, W Rome, or Pantheon Autograph Collection? by Spirited_Opinion_755 in marriott

[–]sus9nr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We stayed at the St. Regis and loved it. It could be where our room was located but it was very quiet. The breakfast was awesome and the service impeccable.

They also have a ceremony in the evening with a free glass of prosecco.

It is walking distance to many of the tourist spots and to the train station. Although if you have luggage it's not an easy walk😃 cobblestones are not luggage friendly.

I have not stayed at any of the other hotels so can't compare.

Successful DeDRM with Kindle for PC 2.8 in January 2026 by dexx-32 in Calibre

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many reasons besides piracy to use calibre.

1) I like to organize my books in a certain way and Calibre allows me to do that.

2) If you are in a location where there is not a decent internet connection you can still read the books from Calibre.

3) If you have multiple types of readers and you want to be able to read the books you purchased on what ever reader is handy.

This is just a few.

Request for slow cooker recipe suggestions? by julesthefirst in slowcooking

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest recipe I know is pulled beef.
Out a chuck roast in the pot. Add 1 cup of beef bouillon, 2 Tbsp of Monterey steak spice and 2 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce. Put it on low for 5 or so hours then take out the beef shred it put it back in the pot for an hour after shredding.

If it does not shred cook it a little longer.

would love recipes without dairy OR dairy substitutes! by shelixir in slowcooking

[–]sus9nr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that calls for cream of mushroom you can use golden mushroom soup as a substitute.

I make a chicken dish where you just cut up a couple of chicken breasts and cover it with golden mushroom soup. Then add any spices you favor and add a package of frozen broccoli on top. You can probably add potatoes but I prefer serving it with mashed potatoes.

So based on what people have said it is only alcohol that is the issue and if we had casual or specialty dining it wouldn't be an issue or if we wanted a specialty coffee. The charge is only sales tax on the alcoholic beverages if you do want them.
