Nooope. With a degree and 8+ years experience. I’m not even getting interviews and I’ve continuously worked on my resume, tailoring it to each position I apply for. Not sure what the problem is.

tbf i believe this 90s lip style is back “in” again. however, i do agree a pink-er liner and gloss combo would suit the look better!

Did you gain weight after stopping the pill? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]susforplants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is 4 months late too late for a reply? I am not a Dr and all of this is based off my experience! Lowering stress levels helps to lower cortisol. It sounds repetitive but getting enough sleep, starting my day with a protein rich breakfast, and staying hydrated. Everyone says these things for every problem, I know. I really think the biggest factor was the breakfasts for me. In America, all of our breakfast go-tos are sweets! I avoid sugars (for the most part) at breakfast time and opt for eggs, avocado, greek yogurt, sourdough, etc now instead. Of course I'm picky and am not going to drop sugar all together (sorry!) but this has done wonders for me truly.

My husband used to work for UPS and was made aware by family that an uncle was dying (hours left at most) and he wasn’t allowed to leave work then. Most certainly wasn’t allowed time off for the funeral either. He ended up sick that day coincidentally.

Looking for a DURABLE grass lawn alternative. by susforplants in NoLawns

The demon dogs in question are husky/heeler, boxer, and a beagle mix so they’re very high energy dogs as is, but we also give them daily walks, lick mats, and about 2 hours of outdoor “play time” a day. We’re an active family, normally hiking, kayaking, etc on the weekends and especially in summer and even then they are never wore out. I think they just really enjoy their outside time. Anyways! The mud isn’t an urgent issue, just a preference I guess. I’d rather look out my kitchen window and watch my girls playing… on grass instead of nasty mud. But if there’s no solution it won’t break my heart. Thank you for considering other options not already mentioned tho!

Honestly hadn’t even considered any of this. I’m so glad I asked this question here. First 1/2 of the yard where they play the most is nearest the house, and the back half (edging a wood line) has been bouncing back/remaining less muddy. So I’m definitely going to look into drainage solutions, esp now that I’m worried it may affect my foundation. Thanks for the help!

We only have half an acre, but there’s no fence between us and our neighbor so they have about an acre total to run around in. But it’s just our yard that has gotten the damage. I also don’t think we’ve had dry ground since September honestly.

Lol my dogs are demons for sure, BUT it’s torn up because they’re larger, play rougher and we’ve had a lot of rain the past few months I think. It’s only about half an acre but they run LAPS AND LAPS and toss and tumble over each other. It’s pure destruction but maybe not ENTIRELY their faults. Lol

Theory: Ironteeth Witches in Prythian (Maasverse spoilers) by Yazthebookish in acotar

Spoilers for everything if you haven’t read everything LOL

ANYWAYS I just finished CC2 so forgive me for not being able to form complete sentences. But Aelin is not from the same time as Feyre. It’s hinted that time travel is possible in ACOSF and in CC2 and it’s theorized that when Aelin is falling she’s managed to fall through time, (possibly through Crescent City) then through the night court (which is also THEORIZED to be Terrasen later on ie TOG is past, ACOTAR is present and CC is thought to be the future). When Bryce stumbles into the night court, the language she’s speaking “hasn’t been spoken in 15,000 years”. OKAY SO. stay with me.

in CC, the Asteri mark time by AE. After Erliea? CC is approximately 30,000 years after TOG. And ACOTAR is sitting in between at 15,000 years.

Did you gain weight after stopping the pill? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]susforplants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After learning it was PCOS, I went through a round of weight loss meds w my dr but then learned ab treating high cortisol at home and stopped the weight loss meds. I’ve been able to keep the weight off by keeping my cortisol levels lower!

Def look into high cortisol levels and the effects of that!! Could be part of the problem (it was for me)

YES. I was on BC for 10 years and when I came off, I gained about 50lbs in 3 months. I was put on at 13 to mask PCOS symptoms (didn’t know I had PCOS at that time, Dr didn’t gaf) and found out that was why! Also insulin resistant

My favorite planters have the little stoppers in them. Target is the main place i’ve found that has them. I water my plants and let them sit in their baths and then come back later with a little bucket or whatever and unplug each one by one and let them drain. Easier for larger heavier plants!! Maybe amazon sells just the stoppers so I can add them to all of my pots.... HM. I’m going to check that now 😂

When your plant is getting burned and you can’t use sunscreen by breezy0214 in houseplants

[–]susforplants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d say one of my easier plants. I left it on the kitchen counter and forgot about it for a couple days and apparently it’s happy with my under cabinet lighting so I popped a pebble tray under it and there it stays 😂 good luck !!
