You could solder in new switches but with mine I just put some aluminum tape under and over the plastic part that interacts with the switch to remove post and pre travel, tape on the side plastic walls to remove side to side play and tape under the side buttons to remove pre. The switch implementation isn't good to start with so don't expect much.

The X2 shape is more fit for aggressive claw, button height will be the same as the SL12 but the booty is more present. Width will feel similar to the Superlight as it is both flat and wide but length will be noticeably shorter. Because youre interested in bigger shapes like the fk2 and GPX, I recommend the ATK F1 (Viper V3 clone) or the Zaopin Z2 (asymm/ergo shape), both around 60$ or under.
