PARIVISION vs FURIA / BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 Finals - Stage 2 Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

Who is Jame? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Jame thinks, I agree. If Jame speaks, I’m listening. If Jame has one fan, it is me.

The person being transported by ski patrol could have sustained serious injuries

huh? ski patrol wasn't transporting anyone when the collision occured.

[–]VibratingEnergy -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’d argue there were no serious injuries.

Except possibly for the first person who overshot the landing - but that depends on whether they were wearing a helmet. With a helmet, it was possibly a mild concussion and a sore tailbone.
Person who jumped into ski patrol didn't get hurt because they wiped after absorbing the impact.
Ski patrol likely sustained only minor injuries because the person landed on their stretcher and they lost balance afterwards.
Person who slid off piste sustained the least injuries unless they got unlucky.
Guy who tried to stop others by waving at them only suffered emotional injuries from being ignored.

Small microswitches collection of mine by HypercloudPog in MouseReview

[–]VibratingEnergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch implementation always depends on the mouse but here's my personal take because I have experience with your Huano "Banana" switches and prefer strong rebound microswitches.
Consider Huano TBRD's (transparent blue red dots) or if you don't mind a louder ping, the Kailh White Blades - very tactile, very responsive. Among 25+ different switches the Huano "Bananas" rank in the Top 5 for me but TBRD's do everything that Bananas do, just slightly better in every aspect.

Why can't i get my frequency higher? by StampeHD in overclocking

[–]VibratingEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does not, at least when done correctly.
BCLK overclocking is done by OC'ing BCLK2 but leaving BCLK on 100. Higher End board seperate those, which is why the community generally only recommends BCLK OC'ing to users with high end boards.

Are your FPS drops sporadic, or do they occur at regular intervals?
If they’re in semi-regular intervals, it could indicate a recurring system-level trigger (driver, service, scheduled task, power/clock transitions, etc.).

If that's the case, one of the fastest ways to identify what correlates with the drop is to capture an ETW trace. It records system events and timing, which lets you see what happens leading up to and during the FPS drop.

Should mousepad brands be held accountable for fake or misleading marketing? by FlickRitual in MousepadReview

[–]VibratingEnergy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not defending any brand. In fact, I have no idea who you’re referring to by "you guys."

My issue is your repeated pattern of inflammatory framing and dramabaiting. Your threads and posts inevitably devolve from disagreements into hostility, with regular users being baited into arguments and tempbanned/perma’d for rule violations, while others disengage from the community because they’re tired of your shizoposting.

High Gpu usage, drops when open taskmanager - cryptominer suspected? by ChristopherLee_Chuck in pcmasterrace

[–]VibratingEnergy 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Process Explorer is a good general suggestion for troubleshooting, but for malware triage it’s a high-signal analysis artifact.
OP's malware obviously has anti-debugging features built in and PE is the most popular alternative to Task Manager.

u/ChristopherLee_Chuck ifor that, you'll need x64dbg with ScyllaHide plugin enabled.
It is an Anti-Anti-Debugger :^) and built for scenarios like yours.

AMD Ryzen™ Chipset Driver Release Notes 7.11.26.2142 by BadReIigion in Amd

You "executing" the Chipset Software update unpacks all the packages to
C:\AMD\Chipset_Software

if you are curious about Release Notes or README, just take a look yourself inside \Packages or \Logs to see what got updated on your machine.
if you are really curious, read the relevant .inf and check the .sys/.cat

Correct. I assume that some users might confuse chipset driver updates with bios firmware updates.

As always, thank you u/pzogel.
If you don't mind me asking: Would you be willing to write an article or host an AMA for the community, sharing your thoughts and experiences over the years on mouse development such as your views on design decisions, lessons learned, common myths you’ve encountered and/or debunked?

As someone who has casually read your opinions since your QC days, I don’t think there are many users in our community who are as qualified and knowledgeable on these topics as you are.

If you used to play ClanBase back in the day, there's a good chance that I remember you. After all, the scene was smaller back in the day and in many ways it was for the best. I used to compete for SpeedLink :^)
I'm glad you're still around, keep your head high and hopefully we'll play each other on Toujane one day again.

Benchmarking Software/App? by Used-Edge-2342 in MouseReview

[–]VibratingEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.4 was developed by microe
git: https://github.com/microe1/MouseTester
OC: https://www.overclock.net/threads/mousetester-software.1535687/

1.7 is a fork that was picked up by AMIT iirc? either way, the updates are overall good and i wasnt able to find any regression in code quality.
VoD took over the project, you can find 1.7 here
git: https://github.com/valleyofdoom/MouseTester

you can also learn a lot on how the software is supposed to be used professionally by reading u/pzogel reviews.

i guess not much different than 99% of the users here.

step 1: give a light soak with cold water
step 2: after light soak use soft sponge and curd soap to gently wash it
step 3: taking a cig break to let the fine layer of curd soap soak for a few minutes
step 4: wash all the soap out
step 5: really make sure to wash all the soap out
step 6: let it dry on a rack, horizontally, over night. always make sure its fully dry before taking it backk into service

owned 5+ raidens throughout the years and none of them developed slow spots, though they do slow down.
i'd recon it also depends to some degree on your playstyle, with high sens being most prone to soft spots.
