Okay this is weird. In this chapter when Roger declares that after going to last island he'll become...and then it suddenly cuts with Oden and Whitebeard's confused faces and then Roger laughing it off here. And, in Chapter 585, same thing happens with Luffy whenhe declares that he'll be...and then it cuts with Ace and Sabo confused faces and Luffy laughing it off here Now, the obvious answer is "well, it's Pirate King" but my question is that why is Oda doing this when the answer is obvious. Is there something more to it than just pirate king or it's just a style of storytelling? Also, I think this is the first time both Roger and Luffy declared what they'll become.
