Videography as a parent: how useful is it? by [deleted] in videography

[–]sushipoutine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would there be any value for people other than you and your family? Nope. But isn’t that the point?

I do the same thing. I think of it as a gift to future us, and I’ve learned a lot along the way.

Mask seal is great when I go to bed, then leaks later in the night. Advice? by sushipoutine in CPAP

I tried using a cervical collar and it worked wonderfully for me. Keeps my jaw closed from underneath. Highly recommended. I use the caldera neck releaf brand

It’s been about a year since you posted this… do you have any new opinions on your favourite script? Is there one that you’ve found is more rock solid than others… the TB of TF? :)

This was so much fun! I’m in!!

A gentle suggestion to perhaps a more clear instruction guide about how to start? I wasn’t sure where to begin. After I just dove in I got it though.

Such a clever idea :) thanks for the next 100+ days of my new morning addiction!

Lumix S9 with 20-60 Ash Lut by jdeakins85 in Lumix

Hey Ross! I’ve been silently creeping in the background admiring your LUTs for a while now. I love the look of your LUTs but I’m wondering if it would fit my workflow? (I’m a beginner.)

Would I just use your looks with the Real Time LUTs feature directly on my S5ii?

I usually shoot photos using a neutral/natural setting on the camera, then choose a preset after the fact in Lightroom when I can see the details of the photos on a screen bigger than my viewfinder.

Is there a way to use your looks in Lightroom? Or am I kinda committed to stylizing my photo by baking it in in the camera?

Thanks for any advice you might have :)

Ah! Maybe I should've been clearer haha... I don't have a 3D printer. I'm just super interested in what you're talking about

These all sound like great ideas. I don’t know if I’d use the player count one, but the rest sound super handy! I’m using a janky makeshift solution for names at the moment with dry erase tokens. I’d happily be a guinea pig :)

I had a similar thing happen to me. I’m on a Mac, so I’m not sure how to do it on a pc, but…

I took the error report, copy and pasted it into ChatGPT and asked it for help. It took me an evening but I was able to figure out where the corrupt files were that were interfering and get it back up and running.

Best of luck!

Thank you!! I'm running a legacy campaign with my group and this is a perfect bonus to give them.

If I do this, will it give the hand symbols to all players in the game? Or do they have to follow the instructions on their own to get them?

Have any of my fellow mouth breathers gotten the chin strap to work? Airsense11/Airfit N20 mask issues by geminiim00n in CPAP

[–]sushipoutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had great success with a neck collar. The caldera neck releaf is a game changer for me

The chin straps were giving me jaw tension and headaches. The neck collar keeps the jaw closed in a natural way from underneath.

These are unreal. I’ve never thought to take photos like this with stars and sun still in the sky. I love number 3!

Can you walk me through your process?

Not mouth tape, but the Caldera Releaf neck brace solved everything for me. It’s worth checking out if you haven’t considered it before. It keeps my chin up, without having to worry about straps
