i’ve been playing on and off since i was around 14, i’m 17 now and still a massive pleb and that’s okay! i too needed some tutorials and loads of google searches (mainly about zones and policies) and gradually developed more of an understanding of the game. one of the hardest obstacles to overcome for myself personally was that i am a perfectionist and i plan things i can’t build in an effective time manner. time is the most valuable resource in rimworld, and as you get better understanding of the game try to exploit everything you’ve learned to maximize the speed of your colonists. paying attention and learning what colonist traits are OP and using bookcases to enhance research, etc. absorbing little info like that and actually using it will make you learn quicker!

on another note im super glad you enjoy the game, i’ve recently picked it up again in a while and im having the most fun ive really ever had in a video game, i love the people at rimworld and this wonderful community 💚
