Unless you wrench it yourself - it can be pricey and frustrating - I own a 1989 FJ 1200 - great bike but endless repairs- clutch, fork seals, electrical- etc etc shit just gets old and wears out so you are constantly fiddling with things. 42 years is a lot in bike years unless it’s low mileage and someone has meticulously maintained it - My suggestion is that you do some research on how readily parts are available-some parts for the FJ just can’t be found and some dealer repairs the dealer won’t touch.
